I'm planing on using my New G-tank on my Darwin, both may possibly be here tomorrow or the following day, however if the Darwin gets here first How are some of you guys using yours ( Setup ) Dripping or Carto tanks and what seems to be your Favorite sweet spot set up Watts/Ohms ? with this Bad mamber jamber

As you are well aware this bad boy will fire anything up. I still use the tanks and atty's on other MOD's but on my Darwins I have pretty much outfitted them with the Fusions and V2's topped with some of Drew's colored and twisted DT's. Lately I have been more on the Fusion side since they seem to be holding up better than the V2's and transmit a little more flavor. While dripping is fine with this unit I find that since I am a bit overzealous and I am used to having a catch cup on other MOD's I often ended up with the dreaded sauce hand. NO KAT IF YOU ARE READING THIS NOT FROM THAT :). Anyway I am sure you will find a sweet stetup and many fine vapes with the new toy. Enjoy

Sometimes stealth is the way to go. I do vape the Darwin in public but when low profile is needed then an eGo batt or the p-10 with Boge LR cartos are the weapons of choice. I fly with two Darwins but have never whipped one out on the plane. That is certainly the place were stealth skills are tested and I can tell you after spending much ... time on 15 hour flights to China I have fully mastered the art of stealth.

I just go into the bathroom and vape all I want on the planes.

Hi, welcome to Darwinia to all the new users. For the most part, higher resistance atty/cartos are preferred, because they won't draw as much amperage as LR, and your battery will last longer. You can still dial in many heat ranges, but you don't need to swap parts around (atty/cartos) to do so. There are no right numbers, just turn it up or down until you like it.

I use Darwin daily @ work with 2.5 or 3 ohm Boge cartos. I really like a Liquinator tank on it, but it's too much of a 'science project on a stick' for me to use at work. I get to vape at my desk, but don't want to push it. I use the tank at home in the evenings, and I had to learn to turn it down. I wasn't over-vaping in one sense, but in another I was using a lot more juice. It also is a reality of the fact that a carto tank keeps the fluff much wetter than I did manually. Cartos last much, much longer in a tank than they do with me manually filling them, as well.

Be careful with that. Some use an optical sensor in the detector and vapor will set it off. I recently set one off in a hotel room in Finland that had and optical sensor.

I also vap in the bathroom on planes. But I exhale into a paper towel to keep from creating clouds that the optical sensors can pickup.

It thought it was always said you don't need to hold in your vape for long. I guess if we're talking planes thats a different story. Is it illegal to use pv's on planes now?

There is not an FAA rule against them. However, many of the airlines list them in devices not allowed to be used while onboard.

Huge problem with my Darwin,

It hits so hard I literally can't vape as much ;)

Same here :) Now I understand you guys and girls. All this talk about Darwin... and how great it is... you really can't understand it before you've owned one. It's vapeheavenmaker!!! I really have to lower my nic level from 24mg to something like 10mg-. One question. Is it normal that while on, Darwin flashes it's screen light more or less every 5sec. It doesn't get as bright as when fired... just a very very quick flash. It's normal? Feature or not?

Which part of Finland you visited?

Pori. Several times per year. I was just there a few weeks ago and actually attended the Pori Jazz fest. Then I usually spend a night in Helsinki before flying out. By the way it was the Darwin's fault for setting off the Helsinki Holiday Inn fire alarm. It was early morning and I blew a huge cloud over my shoulder while reading email and the cloud went right towards the detector. Helsinkli FD had to come to shut off the alarm. Not much fun at 3:30 am

So they saw everything you were doing? ;)

Time to add the self check info to the sticky, Drew.

Only you can prevent vapor fires, SHS.
