Had to put my 2-cents post there also....OK so I could not resist a post in the "hi def" review of the Darwin:

Drew, I only watched him for the smoke rings...
I am indeed proud!!! Im also a little ....... I know that he is running a business now and has many discount and affiliate deals with different suppliers , but he shouldnt have to try and discredit those that dont want that kind of service.
It really dosent behoove him for potential customers and review watchers. New people in the vaping community turn into experts usually. You might fool some people in the beginning but they will figure it out later. I dont send out free stuff for reviews to people who have businesses, making reviews. I think the consumer can figure these things out for themselves, and although it will increase business, I always felt it was a little shady.
I thinks its pretty obvious who did and did NOT send him a free one and sign him up with an affiliate link.
Here is a link to his homepage...
E-Cig-Reviews.com - Electronic cigarette and E-Liquid video reviews, tutorials, user guides and discount codes
igetcha69Films.com - Video production and photographic services for the electronic cigarette industry
Dont click on the links on his page because if you do he will get an affiliate fee for the purchase...
Just sayin...

Credo, relax sweetie. Up your nic. Who cares, really? We'll all find our way to what's best (ahem, DARWIN) eventually.
I'm going to be serious here (I know you're thinking I'm still joking around)... What does his review, negative OR positive, have to do with my (your) vaping enjoyment? For Drew, Brandon, and Evolv it's a different story. My investment with my Darwin is an emotional/physical one, and the only thing that Sir Scottie could do to ruin that would be to pry it out of my COLD DEAD HAND!
The way I see it, it's just one review and one person's opinions. I do disagree with several points he makes in that one, but whatever. I read many more negative reviews of the Darwin than that one while I was trying to decide whether to buy one, all the opinions out there at the time were split about 50/50, but I still wound up buying one and have enjoyed every minute of it![]()
I know not every potential buyer will bother to seek out all the info they can before making a decision, so a single negative review is going to hurt the product to some extent, but I like to think that there are enough people out there who have a brain in their head and will get more than one opinion, first
(okay, I don't usually have any faith in the general intelligence of people, but just let me remain jaded on this one for at least a couple minutes)
You might want to see my last post over there....guess we think alike Ski....Ok couple of minutes are upYou are correct and luckily one of those that did some homework and found out what many of us have when we picked up a Darwin. My fear is that this guy is a "respected" reviewer and you can see the feeding frenzy comments made following that review. The problem I have with the 50/50 split is that the negative side has a very low percentage of people who have actually tried one and they continue to spew inuendo about something they know nothing about. I have seen a few posts that people did not actually like the unit but it is mainly a size or look thing. I do not believe I have seen one post that says the unit sucks and does not perform as stated. So a review like this is not really a big deal to those of us who reside in Darwinia but for someone on the fence it could be a deciding factor. My biggest beef is that he did not give the unit a fair shake and while he may not like the form he should have noted that the unit does bring technology to market that the PV world did not have prior to the arrival of the Darwin. BTW - I still want to see him blow those smoke rings!!! Happy vapes KJ
