Some people swear by them and there are a few pics of Darwins with them on buried in this thread somewhere. Personally, I've never used one, I just remove my tanks if I'm going to pocket mine. Actually, now that it's getting cold, I notice that I can fit mine in several of my winter coat's pockets with a tank still on it ;-)
Kat.... NB's Blue Darwin is the beta tester special edition Blue Darwin that was made especially for them. I don't know all the testers but Neb, Angus and MuttSRT were the earliest. (pretty sure of that anyway)
The blue I am referring to is the teaser version, along with a Red version that Drew got from Brandon. We hope they eventually make it into production.
Brandon also made our mouths water at Vapercon with a 3rd color....Then took it home with him! (he is a cruel cruel man)
Of course, no Darwin will ever match the beauty of the elusive camo duct tape version.

Either an OD green or a really dark green would be cool in my book. I've seen (in pics and vids, not in person) the red and blue ones mentioned and those are not really to my liking. Too "bright" for me, I guess

I got my Darwin in today. I have a few questions I am sure have been asked before
1. it came with a 3/4 charge will this be enough to get me through the night or should I put it on the charger till it is 100% charged
2. With the swing arm open can I just leave it like that or will it discharge the battery. I would not figure it would but just wonted to ask.
What is every one using on it for attys at what watts. I have a a tone of attys to play with and would like to try every imaginable set up with attys.
Right now I have a 2.0 Cisco with the solid extension and DS.
I made some 0 Nic juice so I don't fall off the couch tonight when playing with the Darwin

Go ahead and plug it in. You can vape it while it charges
You can leave the arm open if you like, the idle display doesn't take much power at all...

1. Batt guage has a curve, tends to stick at top so 3/4 is not really 3/4. If you are at your desk or anywhere you can use it plugged in... Probably will get you thru the night depending on if you "vape like a freight train" or not. - You WILL get a quick feel for the gauge with a few cycles.
2. Swing arm will open will not appreciably drain.
Attys = any/all -> Have fun! 2Ωs and higher give you best to lower watts. ALL give you best to upper watts.

lol landlord you should check out the threat if you havnt already, Drew put up the official announcement btw im sure if you just wanted the kick when the time comes you could easily sell that darwin, you always see people WTB and not getting one, seems like the darwin is hard to come by in the classies
mxbnw - when i got my darwin it lasted a couple hours but i was using LR stuff, usually the lr stuff uses more power and drains the battery quicker, but like neb said you can use anything on it, normal use i hve 3 ohm attys and can usually get through the day with that..
leaving the arm open is fine, my darwin is actually messed up and even with the arm completly closed it is still on, over the last weekend i went out of town and forgot my darwin (i know i was ready to kill someone, still had another pv, but i still need the darwin!) a darwin fit is far worse than a nic fit anyday lol
anyways, it was fully charged when i left and still full batt bar when i got back.
