I adore Sir Ramsay, but I do warn you, Panks, some of his recipes are not so user friendly. Let us know how it turns out!

You can also try Foodwishes.com. Chef John is awesome, and has a particular bend towards naughty. ;)

Woo! I am now sitting down and relaxing because I have prepared the turkey for cooking tomorrow :D That was a little bit or work there  I will definately let you know how it turns out ;) To be honest, the gravy is the part that scares me but I think I can get it done.

We need Pic of Panky crashed out after too much turkey. He probably has the Darwin in hand just snoozing away :)

Lol, I'm still kickin' Definately too much turkey though. It really turned out surprisingly well for my first one. Here is a pic of the turkey :p At this point, the lemon was like "let me out of this damn bird!" though

I am trying to picture what you did to that poor turkey. lol What is that, bacon on it?

Gordon Ramsay's roast turkey with lemon, parsley and garlic recipe - Recipes - goodtoknow

Trust me, it was far from poor. Best turkey that I have ever had :D And yes, that is bacon! It was part of making the gravy which also came out quite tasty. It really was an off the wall recipe though and I wasn't sure what would happen. I should have taken a picture without the bacon and skin on it because it looked better.

Skyway - Looks like our man Panky rubbed it down with oil, flogged it with bacon and then stuffed a lemon in its ... ----- Wait now there is an Idea for theme night :) Only thing we need now is the tarp

Lol! Just lol. It had 2 onions stuffed in it and the lemon. I forgot to cut the lemon in half though. Doesn't matter though because the butter had the zest and juice of 2 lemons. The one in the bird was for the gravy :)

Hi Darwinians! I hope you all had a great holiday. I was out for a few days, we rented a cabin up in the sticks and spent Christmas up there. We were hoping for snow, but no luck. Still, we were on the river and had a hot tub.

I got my new blue screen Darwin, and it really has some nice improvements. The arm feels more solid, the machine work is cleaner, and the button pokes out a little more than the older version. All in all, some very nice improvements from Evolv!

Of course I needed to bring along a lot of supplies with me...

Panky, that turkey looked amazing! I'm soooooooooo hungry. I starved myself today after the weekend's festivities (festivites=calories). Welp, I can't lie. I did have a bowl of lettuce today...

I just had some leftover turkey because I couldn't find anything else  It was still pretty amazing but it's never the same once you microwave it... I think the problem was the SOMEONE threw the gravy away
