To my understanding, the Darwin arms have been internally sealed for over a year now. I still use sealed 510 to 510 adapters on all my Darwins (sort of belt and suspenders approach). Still need to be careful with juice as it can get into the button and wheel. juice getting into the button can potentially gunk up the internal button and cause it to get sticky. juice into the wheel can potentially gunk up the pot. Overall, the Darwin is actually very well sealed. This IS an electronics device so extra care should ALWAYS be taken with juice or any moisture but Evolv has gone to great lengths to make this device as juice proof as they can (without a complete re-design).

I love my Darwins and Kicks and have sold off all my other devices. Now, I am 100% "EVOLV'd" :p

I'm getting there-Evolv'd 80%, still have my Provari and V3 and haven't used them too often lately, otherwise I have my 2 Darwins and every other device(including my wood mods) are Kicked.

I'm drawing up a design I want that's made out of Dupont Corian that looks like Granite, unit will be totally sealed accept a small set screw to fill the fuel tank which will be rectangular, and a USB port, and the size of a deck of poker playing cards, just about done drawing it :)

Just curious to see if other people have tried the lowest setting, 4.2 I've had my Darwin for 9 months now and just have recently tried out the lower wattage settings, and 4.2 is my new fav with the 510-t. Better taste, moister vape which is the big thing with me, I'm sick of dry mouth and lungs from vaping and this is beautiful. TH and vapor aren't big things to me and they are fine. Who would have thought I would be using this to vape so low? I love it though. This setting really helped me turn the corner with my getting off the analogs and I'm now good to go and definitely will not be going back. I will say though that 4.2 takes some getting used to, at first I thought, yikes, this is too weak but now I really have gotten used to it.

Hey there.

I liked using my Darwin at the lowest setting when I used a Smoktek carto at 1.7 ohm. Anything higher and I could here it sizzling. As well as the 2.0 Boge cartos.

My Darwin gets used throughout the whole range ;-) I tend to run CE2s and (when I was using it) the 510-T at low watts, from minimum up to maybe 6. Regular cartos (Boge, etc) I run from 6-9, dual coils I run at 10+. Exactly where I set depends on the juice I'm vaping

CE2s were my go-to vape for a long time, I had barely even tried filler type cartos at the time I purchased my Darwin, so the lower watts settings got used daily back then. Nowadays I mostly use cartos that I like at higher watts, but still occasionally go for something different to break up the pace or vape a juice that I don't like in a filler carto (I've got a few that are strictly drip or CE2 use for my taste)

That is some really outside the box thinking, the worlds first stone mod. Very cool idea.

I will pick up a few as well.

For me I am not a fan of the LED read out. I just go by taste. Plus with out the read out I can squeeze this in to a cool little box with a juice feeder. :)
