if you poke around at the site that makes famous drip shields you will find some decently priced 510-510 adaptors that are great for stacking--it's what i use and they work like a charm. you would probably have to stack like five or six to get an inch's length so it might be worth your while to just invest in a gooseneck...those are pretty cheap and some darwin owners really stand by them!

The gooseneck is another good idea. Can you/do you use a drip shield on the bottom of a gooseneck to prevent leaking?

The gooseneck is sealed, I think, so no need. Unless you wanted to use a drip shield at the top end, I think you'd be able to do that. Can't say for sure, I've never used a gooseneck

Yeah, thats what i meant to say....use a drip shield in the top of the gooseneck. Even with a gooseneck, i would think that you could overdrip and still have juice leak out from the bottom of the atty where it screws into the gooseneck.

So, when they send out the notifications that they have them in stock, do they say what time it'll be available? Like a heads up/be online at "so and so-o'clock"? Or is it a, "a limited amount in NOW available and if you're still reading this you are now too late!"? Trying to figure out how to prepare myself. LoL!

Bump! LoL!

Hey, all. I just got my hands on my new blue screen Darwin today and i must say that i love it. I do have two quick questions though....

1) Is the swivel arm supposed to have some play when you are locked in at one of the 3 open positions or should it be tight and not move at all?

2) Where can i get a good sealed 510-510 adapter that is maybe 1" long? Or, who has the best sealed adapters?

Thanks much. I am proud to be a Darwinian. :)

there is some play in the arm when locked. That is normal/ enjoy the best mod out there//!

Yes ,we send out notifications befored we put them on the site!
And how may someone get on this notification list? I looked all over the nHaler website, already been a registered member for a few months, but can't find a notification list or button for one anywhere...

Go to the "contact us" page and ask to be put on the notification list for a Darwin. I'm not sure if it's an a newsletter or if it's just for the Darwin though. I believe I signed up for the newsletter if you go to the NHaler website, you should see a few banner links on the top right. (at least it is on my iPhone)

jkmtwo, brother, i know you were giving that darwin on the classifieds last night the hairy eyeball. i was looking at the thread for like ten minutes before seeing that someone PM'd the seller and i was like, 'thank god someone NOT me is making a bid on this.' i already have the darwin but when i saw the price coupled with the possibility of new ones on the horizon--i felt kinda relieved to see it go, haha. now, let me just keep my fingers crossed that we can get new ones so that i have the best back-up for the best PV! now that you are provari-free and battery-free, i know that USB charger and your Opus will do you right in hawaii, haha!

Nah not really, I would like another one, but if its a blue screen, if its used, it would have to be a great deal, or I would just prefer a new one, if it were a white screen, I probably would have thought very hard on it though.

My Opus has become my main pv, I wouldn't say I prefer it to my Darwin, but when i leave the house its the one I take, the form factor is incredible, and its just easy to hold in the hand, I think I may need to drop my nic level again because I'm going through a ton of juice and I'm getting over nicced, sigh, I just dropped down to 6 mg like a month ago, now what, 4, 3, maybe mix in some zero nic, sigh.

Hmmm, that's weird... I usually drop my nic level when I vape less, then I chain vape again. I started at 36mg, then 24mg and I'm bouncing back n forth from 24mg to 16mg, maybe when my current juice stash gets lower I'll lower my nic level again.

Hey!

Is anyone using a DCA 306 on the Darwin? Does the arm close with it on there? I prefer 306 attys, so this would be my fantasy setup.

Thanks.
While not a fan of the 306, I did try it at one time with DCA. Here is a pic using the 1" 510 to 510 adapter:
