I am not a user and the Jury is still out on whether I am a fan...I have never used one that was made properly I guess. I did see one the other day that worked REALLY good, but Im pretty sure I dont have the patience to build one that requires that much fiddling...I also don't think that you need to vape anything at 20 watts.
As I was explaining to a guy the other day...When someone calculates the watts on their device and thinks they are vaping 15 watts (because thats what the theoretical math tells them) that doesn't necessarily mean that they they are actually getting 15 watts to the atty. When you have a Power regulated deevice giving you 15 watts instantaneously you may find that things are different.
So if you set up a Genesis properly you dont need anything but a standard 3.7 battery. The ones I was using the other day were using 18350' and 18500 batteries and they were working FABULOUSLY!

Yeah I agree, but I still want a Darwin! I like the form factor. And it would seem the form factor of being able to keep the genny upright while not used and not worrying that the pv itself won't tip over if bumped or anything.

I do look forward to the next evolution of the Darwin, can't wait to see what you and Brandon have in store for us, Drew :) My Darwin will be 2 years old in about six weeks or so and it's still my every day carry mod. I do use all of my devices, but the Darwin is still my fave for out-and-about vaping

X100 on that KJ. One of my Darwins is always with me. In fact a white screen one handled 3500+ Miles on the snowmobile with me. Got lots of stares and questions at bars. I did see other vapors this winter but all were hitting Ego style batts and they had very little knowledge of MOD's. Priceless to see their faces when I blasted huge clouds with the Darwin.

Welp, there's a familiar face. Hi ime! Good to see you.

Two years ago today, when I was a newbie little vaper, boppin' around town with my non-variable-almost no-vapor Ego T (which whistled at me), I was advised by a very wise vet vaper that in time I would buy every mod out there. His recommendation was to skip all that and and go for the Lamborghini of devices. It was good advice. I took it, and I got a D'win. I have never ever ever EVER regretted that decision.

Thank YOU, Ski.
