Lumiis... your Darwin has an arm????

Joooooking. Yours is absolutely fine and dandy. There is play in the arm and the turn on position (uh oh... watch Ski come out of the woodwork on that one) is definitely in the 2nd position. You're golden. Ok, I'm golden. ;) Ok, I USED to be golden, , , now I'm just a box of cereal.

Are you loving it? There is nothing quite like it in the vaping world and I'm happy you found one!

I went to a vape meet this last weekend. One of the newer people approached me and asked me what my device was, as he had never seen one. I said... "It's the Darwin!" He was thrilled and said that he thought they only existed in imagination. :D

In Canada they do exist only in imagination. It has been a year and a half since we could last order one AFAIK. My second Darwin recently died and I'm now fully converted to Vamo. But darn it, I do miss my Darwins. I wish they'd gotten production really going at some point, I'd have bought two more by now. Sigh.

Did KD say turn on position?? I think we call that downward facing dog.

Anyway Lumiis congrats on scoring a rare quickly going extinct mod. Take care of it.

@ Mister check out the Opus D. The thing is the closest to the Darwin I have found and I have tried several. I baby my three Darwin's now. Did you send your dead ones to Evolv for repair?? They have been known to work miracles. Best of luck

Thanks Liv2Ski.

I had 3 repairs on my Darwin's over two years, all for battery connection, one via mail-in and twice locally soldered. It is time to give them up I think. They've had almost two years of use and owe me nothing.

The Opus D appears to be available only in the U.S. I'm not sure I'd want one anyway. What I've read about the DNA 20 says that the power is adjustable from 7 to 20 watts. I prefer my favorite atty + liquid combination running in the 5.5 to 6 range.

Hi Drew,

I returned my Darwin under warranty for repair to Brandon and I have not heard back from him about when it will be shipped. They got it 7/26/13 AM in their PO Box. Last time I had a really quick turnaround. I had to bug them for a tracking number but this time nada just one email saying he would try to remember to send me a tracking number but no replies to emails since. Is there a backlog of Darwin repairs or is Brandon involved in something else right now where he can't answer emails?

Hey,
Not really sure why? I will check with him on Monday. They are definitely busy with other things:vapor:, but that has never stopped them before. There was a backlog on some parts last I heard, but dont quote me. I do know that two people were on Vacation last week.

What fits the Darwin? I used my and then was finally able to fully quit, but want to give it to my girlfriend and all my atomizers and juice are almost 2 years old now and I want to give her something fresh.

What should I get to go on my Darwin that is working well now?? I have to nearly start fresh and it's been years since I been here!\

Thank you,
