Yeah I noticed that with the button. But I'm really loving this! Being Saturday and having the full day to experiment. What really amazes me most yet its the most simple thing is the consistency of great hit. This is what vaping should have been all along! I would so recommend this to a new person wanting to quit analogs. Just save up the pennies and get the cream of the crop! No blu, revolver, ego....skip all the hassles and just get a frigging Darwin!

I actually love that the button is EXACTLY the way it is....If the button was a really sft touch I would never be confident enough to slide it in my pocket...I just dont have that much faith in the swing arm, but knowing if the swing arm does swing. that the button still needs pressure to activate makes it easy to carry with confidence.

This is the only mod I sell that I would be completely confident in reccomending to a Newb...I get calls and emails all the time from people who want to get started and WANT to spend more money to get the right unit... I almost always steer them away from the bigger battery mods, (Xhaler, Tekkeon, BoX Mods) because Im afraid they will have problems.
Not any more...This thing is just too simple and I know that Newbs will be satisfied from ther very first vape.

Hey, Drew. I'm trying an LR510 carto on the darwin today, and I know this is one of your faves on the device. Popping out the top rings and using a drip tip, what rejuicing technique do you find to be effective? I'd rather not reinvent the wheel with an more experienced caveman nearby...

And I'm with you on the button. I think the current setup would make the darwin a little easier to use with something like the map tank mod or the AVS...

I like the condom method the best with any carto...For some reason it seems to really soak the carto the best...I dont even remove the rings for the first fill...Honestly I havent even been using the Drip tips for a couple days....I have also been using the KR808 Jumbos though that dont get as hot on the lips because of the length and they hold a full 2 ml of liquid so the filling isnt as often.
When dripping into the cartos I like to take the drip tip off if Im using one. Makes it easier to get the liquid around the sides of the unit.

I wasnt going to say anything, but Im using a 3ml 2.0 Ohm carto right now that I had made....Great vapor and flavor...Down side is that is slightly too wide, so the Darwin dosent close all the way with it on, so it will probably be 30 days or so before I get them in the right size :(
I really think you are gonna love the 2.0 510 though...I never liked them as much as I do with the Darwin.

I just sent a message a bit ago today on the Darwin site to ask about new stock eta, got a reply VERY quickly, on a Sunday too! They put me on the mailing list, and said eta is ~2 weeks. I'd message them via the website 'contact us' and I'm sure they'll do the same.

How do I purchase one? I see that they are out of stock. Is there a waiting list I can be put on?

cool... so carto or tank may be the best way to go... for some. I love dripping and stick with that for now..
with the batt life as good as it is, having the arm up shouldnt be much of an issue imo... especially with a USB cable handy on desktop.

let us know when you get those slim cartos in...

I havet blown any up...I did have one of the Dripomizers just quuit on me but it was 3.2 ish Ohms...I have put them on there and turned it up to 12 and watched the Vapor shoot out the end, but that was just because I wanted to see what it looked like!!!
I run the 2 Ohm ones between 8 and 10 watts ...Sometimes I'll turn it up and take a short hit then turn it down and take a long deeper hit...Depends on what Im craving...

First impressions...absolutely brilliant! Yes, there are a couple of minor things that I'd change, but they are minimal in my opinion. I'm going to give it a full week (3 more days) and then post a video review. I'm on my 3rd day since a full charge and battery indicator still shows about 60%. Granted, I've only been using this half the time, rotating with one other PV, but even with that, the battery life is super.

Ive been getting aproximately 30 hours heavy use out of a 4 hour charge....I havent tried any more because I end up plugging it in overnight.
Thanks

Drew you should throw in a microfibre cleaning cloth with these. I'm marking up the windows with my nose waiting for mine to get here!
All my orders come with a Micro Fibre Bag!!!! I had the same marks on my windows ;)

Drew, I can't remember if we discussed this...blame it on a Darwin-induced nicotine overdose if we had. Does the ato-miser need a 510-510 adapter to work on the Darwin, and if so, do you have any?

It dosent NEED it, but you can only get it on from the side, But it would definately help to have one...I do not currently have any..Sorry.

I have found a 510 battery extender, looks to be the size of a 510 atty and a 510 modders connection, which looks to be the size of a regular 510 to 901 adapter. Which would you suggest?
