Andel, I'm going to have to try that tobacco. I've got Bananas Foster in an 801 (tall boy from Ikenvape) reading at 2.2 ohms (will be awhile before I get over the uber nerd pleasure that brings) and pluming! I want a cup of coffee to accompany it so bad but...shouldn't I sleep tonight? Maybe not...lots more juice, attys and what-all to try still!

I got to 12v, quite by accident, of course. I rushed screwing in a carto and fired up the Darwin to check the ohms (it won't be getting old for awhile) and noticed the voltage was at 12. Um... Once I seated the carto in all the way the readings were normal but I have one funky HV 801 (don't know here I got it) and it reads at 4.5 ohms at 12ish volts no matter how much I dial things down. Must be a bad one, huh? I would pull out the multimeter but I think I'm giving that evil thing away. Something I have to remember when switching attys or cartos while out. Note to self: check the voltage!

The 801 is, without a doubt, the best atty for flavor. It just is and the Darwin proves it!

Yes mines directly over the button when I turn it down but still it doesn't turn off. Worried about draining the battery on this.

I don't think that's really a worry to be honest. I think I read that in a thread somewhere that the LCD draws very little power. Many people can't close it because of MAP's and so on and leave it open all night. I'd still want to know what's up. I would call Evolv from their website contact info tomorrow.

Krisb, that's exactly how you and Vapour should view your wait time! Cypress, that was a great video. Finally, a buyer's review of the Darwin. I hope there will be more.

Figuring out my sweet spot. So far, no matter what I put on it I get the consistency I've been wishing for since my first blucig. Oops, my battery just died! The symbol is a battery with a line through it. I tell you that because you're likely not to see it since all of you obviously used yours while it was charging. Thank goodness! I'd have been too gaga to go to bed otherwise.

Nite, vapers!
