I was torn between buying a Darwin or a Provari. Then 2 weeks ago I was able to check both out at a local vape meet. The decision was made. Nothing wrong with the Provari at all- had the Darwin not existed, I would have definitely gone with the Provari. But the Darwin's ability to change voltage on the fly just made it the perfect PV for me. And the ability to set it up to one specific output, and then have everything you attach be exactly the same- that just rules.

P vari is great but some of the darwins features are interesting...I like the change on the fly but is it so easy to change that it does it when you don't want it too. I like the on off but is tthat a weak link to futre problems..I dunno will have to see. While the pvari isn't as easy to change on the fly its also a good thing for me. All my questions will be answered soon! It does sound like a winner though!

@N2Rock - Crazy! It's really a small world.

If anyone else is interested in the Drip Shields, I emailed Empire and they said that the black ones will be in stock on Wed, possibly as late as Wed night. After looking at the pics closer, it looks like a VapeMate would be no problem on it... we'll see. Now I just need a goosneck to fully complete my frankenstein add-on darwin monstrosity. W00t.

I love both, but they each have their goods and bads. Mostly good though. USPS tracking has been terrible this week....again. It doesn't mean anything though.

We will have one of each in this house. Darwin for Randy, ProVari (black) for me so we can see the advantages and disadvantages of both.

Of course he will have his Darwin long before I have my ProVari...sigh...I hate waiting. Patience is not one of my strong suits.

Me and the mrs each have a pvari. She's been using hers nonstop since mid jan. Refuses to use anything else or let me use it. Had mine for a month and its pretty much been the only thing I use except for my mini reo for on the go. Waitin does suck though!

Kris, that is a Clearomizer XL on the Darwin
cuse how is the throat hit on those Clearomizers? I love the TH on my KR 808's more than any other atty or carto but on the Darwin I need something that holds MUCH more juice. With the standard size KR 808's I feel like a dripper I have to top off so often!
