Krisb, it is all a matter of personal taste - like juices. You kind of have to try them all to see what you like. I started with 510s because that is what everyone said was "best". I tried sooooooo many juices because of other people's recommendation "oh, this juice is so good - you have to try it". I have sold or given away over 1,000 mls of juices I just never reached for after trying. I got every atty I could get. My personal preference is the 801 series (801, BE112, 302 and 4072). But, even these have differences. The 801 series is known for a more airy draw. But, most have not investigated how much different adapters contribute to airflow and flavor, TH and vapor are all impacted greatly by airflow. Here is a post I wrote a while back comparing some different 510 to 801 adapters:http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...dapters-w-pics-airflow-attys-little-help.html Unfortunately, vendors do not focus on these issues and I have yet to find any who are even aware that there ARE differences. Many will ship an adapter that is different from the ones pictured on their web sites. I find the new stealth 510 to 801 adapters provide the best all around and they can even be slightly adjusted with tiny turns of the flat-head center of the 801 end. But, I have only tried them from one vendor who no longer carries them and I do not know if all stealth adapters are the same designs. if they are all made by only one company - they "should" be consistent. But, if they are now being made by multiple manufacturers, differences will again become likely. A while back Drew has said he was ordering some but I haven't checked his site to see if they are still there and/or what his opinion of them might be. As I said, this is all a matter of personal preferences.
PS. FWIW - FOR ME and MY PREFERENCES, I do not find LR and HV watts equal vapes. I greatly prefer HV vaping. TO ME, 8.5 watts at higher ohms & volts is a much richer vape experience than 8.5 watts LR and lower volts.
EDIT: another point about airflow - the connectors on the different devices are not the same either. Some have more airflow than others. So, the same atty, with the same adapter, may perform differently on two different devices because the connector on the devices are different.
