I gotta admit THIS IS ONE SWEET PV. Still trying to get the hang of it. It is a bit heavier and a bit more awkward than my round infernos and GP eCos. I am sure within a day or two, it will be as natural as using those.

Anne
Yes Anne

In a day or two it will mold to your touch. Thats how I feel about mine, its like it knows my touch now.
Glad you like it.

I knew you would LOVE LOVE LOVE it, Glad you got yours today. You would have been miserable if everyone got their today and you didn't get yours.
On battery life-I am a very heavy vapor, starting morning until night. My job involves a lot of driving so I had most of the day to vape. I tested my Darwin and it lasted 2 days before the battery was 1/8 down. Then I said well I better plug it in. The battery life on these devices is fantastic.
Also my is fine without a drip shield so far. I use the 510-510 adapter and I don't take it off. If I want to add another size atomizer I just add a like adpator. I haven't had problems with leaking and I have even used Clearomizers XL on mine. I am not into using or committing to a lot of jc at a time. This holds a little over 2ml and that is enough for me it does well.

Alright now...with the given 510-510 adapter to a stealth 510-901 to a 901-510 it works perfect, only touches the button
Tried two of the 510-510 adapters and it stil hit. But problem soved usin 3 adapters!

Found my standard 510-901 adapters. Yes 510-901 + 901-510= success with 510 atty and drip shield!

Hey yall :} anyone have an idea how long it takes to totally charge up an empty batt? Mine was totally dead this morning after I rescued it from USPS, after an hour on charger it came on, at least 4-5 hours on wall charger today and we are maybe 15%. I can get 6-8 "hits" before angry battery icon happens!

I would say contact Evolv, it sounds like you have an issue with either your Darwin or the charger, and I'm guessing the Darwin because it arrived completely dead.
I remember reading among these threads that it should be fully charged in 4-5 hours. My experience with these types of batteries is about the same, 8 hours at the most.

One thing I can tell you. First, my charger was DOA. But the bigger thing I want to say is it takes 12 hours to charge the battery from Angry icon to full and then you need to short cycle charge it for a few times to get the capacity to normal.
Or call Evolv and get a replacement.

I'm a bit worried. My Darwin got to me at about 70%, its now about 20%. I just put it on the charger a few min.s ago. Seems like its draining faster than what others are saying. I've been vaping on it since about 3, mostly nonstop.

I wouldn't worry too much. The first half of the charge lasts far longer than the second half. If you didn't fully charge it before using it, it sounds like normal life to me. That 30% from 100% to 70% will last far longer than the 30% from 50% to 20%. Put it on the charger overnight to top it off and see how it performs tomorrow. I doubt you'll get to 20% by this time tomorrow night.

Good news, the charger which is just a cheapie made in China, was DOA like cuse. Luckily, I have several better ones on hand. Had it sitting on the one it came with and it didn't move at all in an hour. After placing it on mine, it started moving immediately. Yay!

Good to hear its a simple fix. Guesse evolvs gonna have to look into some new chargers..that's quite a few now doa!

That reminds me that I should take the replacement charger Evolv sent me out of the package and at least test it! I have used my own USB cable and my iphone wall plug since day one and also it simplifies things when traveling.

Sigh, hoping today is Randy's day to get his Darwin. Frustrated with the lack of updates through USPS. You know it's not too big of a deal when you're waiting on regular things like atomizers and juice but when it's a new toy the least they could do is throw us a bone on a more regular basis.

I'm sure it will be there today, its gotta be.

I ma have gotten mine quicker because I live in state but also paid 20$ extra in tax on my order. I still think it was worth it!
