*sniff sniff* glad someone understands my pain, :(. I hear juice vendors calling.... quick, name favs!

You know this is exactly why I keep some menthol around. Place a drop or two in one of those "unvapables" we all have laying around and at least you will taste something. Hope it gets better for you.

OK... so I'm sitting vaping MY NEW DARWIN at a marvelous 8.7 watts and thinking to myself:

The fastest shipping I EVER had from an ecig vendor was two business days (TTT when I ordered my gooseneck and some juice). Until now anyways. I ordered my Darwin on Friday at 6pm and had it in hand when the mailman came today around noon. Truly amazing service Drew. You made my day. I'm moving my atty business over to NHaler this month for sure. So let me know what you are guys are running on these for attys. The BE112's that I have grown so fond of are not available at NHaler. I started with and really liked the flavor of a 901's. I just got sick of having juice all over my hands and my pv, so I switched to the 112 SR's. With a gooseneck and my new Empire drip shield, I could easily migrate back to those to see how they taste on this beast. Suggestions welcomed.

I'm not even going to post my review of how the Darwin performs. There are plenty of them on here already. I'll just say...

IT'S ALL TRUE

I simply have never had such an easy to use, versatile, and complete pv in my hand before. Kudos to you guys at Evolve and to Drew for recognizing their value and bringing them to our doorsteps so quickly.

I am really surprised at how small and light it is though. I all the pics and vids that I have seen, I left with the impression that it would be much larger and heavier. The one thing I would suggest for improvement would be making the Amp and Volt displays larger for us in the over 40 crowd. Old grey mare just ain't what she used to be, I guess. But, I pop on the old trusty reading glasses and walah, I get by just fine. Everything else seems "perfect", at this point. Why didn't I have this when I started vaping? Man the time, money, and frustration I could have saved.

My sincere gratitude to you NHaler "fanboys" (and "fangirls") for helping make a great decision and get one of these into my hot little hands. AND for helping me pass the time while I waited to get one ordered much less painfully. Great thread you have going here.

BTW... I sent an email to evolve's cs dept. last night (and had a reply waiting when I logged into my email this morning) asking them if they had considered a signature ticker for the Darwin. They apologized for not already having one and said they would get right on it. It just didn't seem right to run around with Prodigy under my signature, when I won't be vaping one anymore and it's the least I can do for them, for giving me such a great device.

:) another Darwin day! Congrats to all.

I'm having a bleh juice day, think I overvaped last few days, lol. Everything tastes synthetic to me...hope this doesn't last long!

Happends to me sometimes, and I just brush my teeth real good, use some mouthwash, and then sip on about a half-of-a-glass of white milk...seems to clean the pallete(sp) for me.....

I wouldn't hold my breath if I was you. If you saw the beta models, they didn't even have volts.
In my talks with Brandon from Evolv, he was quite hesitant to even put volts in there, because it doesn't matter on the Darwin. Watts are big and noticeable because that is all that is changeable, and all that really matters.

I think it is useful for people making the switch to be able to dial in a voltage they are familiar and equate it with the corresponding watts. Until the Darwin, I always thought in terms of voltage for each atty. Once I dial that in, it is easy to fine tune and with time, the wattage will stick in place of the voltage benchmarks. I am already finding all the sweet spots on the attys I have on hand. Now I just need put in a massive, varied atty order to see how the others vape on here.

If you boogie over to the Provari thread for a bit though, I think you will see that most people equate a voltage with a particular atty and/or juice. I agree that it's the watts at the coil that matter. But, I think it is easier to get your head around, if you have the volts available to you as well. I only mention the Provari thread, because I spent some time over there while I was deciding what VV to buy and found most of the posters to be fairly knowledgeable vapers with strong preference for fine tuning their voltage for each atty/juice.

Just my two cents on it. It would be impossible not to love this device.

I have a very embarassing apology to make...When I put the Darwins on the site on Friday nite, the site sold 6 more than I had. Aisa put them on the site as I was en route to Vapefest in philly...Apparently some people had them parked in their carts and it caused a mis-fire on my cart system...I put 45 in the cart and my cart sold 51 in 4 minutes ...At 6 minutes the cart read -6 in the inventory window...I called Brandon and he went out of his way to send me more Darwins on Saturday , which I was hoping to recieve today, but didnt. So there are 6 Future Darwinians reading this thread that will not get their Darwins until Wed or Thurs...
The concelation prize is that they will recieve the new cases that I got and some other goodies to make up for the delay.
I really feel terrible about this and considered not processing the orders but I just didnt havent have the heart to send out emails stating that those who got through the order process would have to wait for the others.
I drove home Friday nite from Vape Fest , to make sure the others were all shipped out on Saturday, so everyone else should of got theirs today...There was no real way for me to tell who ordered first or last because they all came in so fast, so we just randomly filled the orders.
Again I really apologize and I will be sure to ship them immediately when they get here tommorow. Thanks
Drew

LOL... Good thing I got a decent sized refund on my taxes. Unfortunately this is the last "good" refund I'll be getting. This year I was able to claim 4 kids plus college tuition on 2 of them. This next year, one of the older ones will be too old for me to claim (and yet he still lives at home- sigh!!!). And the other older boy has moved out to attend school in Austin, and is paying his own tuition now. So there goes a large portion of my tax refund.

Quote from retord-Been There - Done That - All ours are grown -- and now we are doing the Grand-Kids thing.....

I will be finished in 2 months, last of college and thats it for me. Now all my money can go towards my fun toys, Darwin, #2 if things change on it and other vaping goodies.

Whew! Did it since and AMAZING!

Yea, I quit before using my Prodigy V1 so should be no problem with this Darwin.

Kind of worried since I don't have a back-up but I can pick up something down the road since this broke the bank. Wanted to get something awesome though out the door this time coming back to PVs instead of a bunch of starter kits and a few mods.

Brandon

Wow, I admire you for going to the top/the best starting back to vaping. But you know the dance, start with a smaller e-cig, move to the next bigger mod, then the next, then the next. We have all been there before. Use your Prodigy V1 as your backup. My Prodigy V1 still works after all this time if I need it.

Drew, I am one of those that will be waiting, but I have no problem with it, fully understand that "stuff happends", so no apology needed, as you continue to show superior customer service....so till Wed. or Thur. I will suffer with my VV mod (hehe)

Thanks for the heads up.....

Waiting to be a member of the DARWINIANS!

Welcome Katdarling, I think Drew said he'd have more probably Tue. So good luck.

Lucky you! I don't have the college expense of the oldest 2 any more- finished that off last year. They are both now paying for their further college expenses. But I also don't have the tax break from them anymore... And the next 2 are 14yr twins. So it will be a few years before I have their college expenses to deal with. But in another year or so, I'll have double the driving expenses of having two teens on my insurance (uggghhhhh). So figured this was going to be my window of opportunity to get the one into braces, and buy some toys for myself.

Yes I feel for you having to go through all that again. Good Luck and glad you and your wife were able to get your Darwins. Now in a year will it be 1 car or 2, haha

DREW, are the cases in for the Darwin. I guess I better go on site and see.

Thanks... You were actaully one of the folks that I really felt bad about...I watch the boards and I know some folks have really toiled with the decision what and where to buy and I also know after making this kind of decision a certain excitement (anxiety) builds up and can be dissapointing to not get a package...I am hoping that the concelation prizes will amke up for the wait. Thanks again.
