... We've been talking about stalking the postman (the Darwinians that stalk this thread....not to name names but... CG, krisb, sewkitty...rotfl) half jokingly since we that are about to "evolve" locked ours in last Friday.

...

Hey, I'm not ashamed to be called a stalker (in this case! ) When the first round of Darwins went out the thread slowed so quickly. We second rounders sorta bonded and it's so exciting to see all the new family members as they are released. I'm seriously attached to mine and know most stop posting simply because they're too busy vaping (or are too satisfied to have anything to talk about).

...The Darwin is smaller that i thought it would be and looks better in person. Many people there had Darwins. I can now see why it is such a popular device.

Yep, I know every video says this about a PV but the Darwin photos really don't do it justice. Glad you saw a lot of people using it! The family grows... Congrats to Evolv and Drew!

I was following a thread over on VF that was comparing the Buzz, the Provari, and the Darwin. I about busted a gut reading all the misinformation on there from the new Provari owners. So I posted:

"Hey, you guys that are hyping the Provari do realize that the Darwin does everything that it does AND it holds the wattage constant in your atty AND it has a more powerful battery with a 1 year warranty, right? By definition, doesn't that mean that the Darwin made the Provari obsolete the minute it shipped?"

They're a little bit rawer (is that even a word?) over there at the VF. I can't wait to see what kind of a s*#t storm that post starts with the Provari Fanboys.

Mine shows going out on Saturday, but with Drew away at fest, I really didn't expect it to go out until Monday. So Saturday for me was a bonus. Hey, I started hitting F5 at 5:30pm EDT, just in case. My order confirmation email arrived at 6:01pm EDT. I was not going to miss getting this again. Looking forward to joining the club.

Wow... I just read a shipping notice from NHaler that shows that they got them out on Friday. Very nice touch Drew. I guess it takes someone that "vapes like a research monkey" to understand how much we want our new pv's yesterday. WTG Drew... You rock!

Yes, you will be spoiled after you get used to Drew's shipping. It defies all logic on how fast it is. Seriously, he isn't the only vendor offering Priority(although some need to take the hint) but I haven't figured out how Nhaler consistently arrives sooner than everyone. Ok, Actually I have figured it out. The other guys give you an electronic notification, meaning they notified USPS of a pending postal charge. Then they let your order sit for 1-3 days before they get it out. Drew and crew literally bust .... to get it out the same day or next morning everytime. It's one of those little, unsung things he just does and why he's one of the best.

This isn't the first time I've heard that either. That's why I started looking at the Darwin. I was looking for someone who stayed up on the trends, dealt honestly with his customers, and offered the best cs in the business. I wanted to find a "one stop shop" so I could quit trying to follow every new start up site, etc. His name kept coming up and several of the threads (this one included) mentioned the Darwin. The owners were all so proud and almost every one of them commented positively about dealing with Drew. And the side banter has been a nice bonus too. Good people on this thread.

OK... so I was stalking the USPS tracking site one more time, before going to bed. And my Darwin just made the Post Office here. I'm going to have my Darwin in hands on Monday, after ordering it at 6PM EDT on Friday night. That is just frigging amazing Drew.

I obviously chose exactly the right place to do business. That is faster than I ever could have expected and superior to any of the dozen or more vendors I have dealt with since I started vaping. You just earned my return business in a huge way. Very impressive.

Woo Hooo. Checked tracking just now, and the last scan was North Houston at 3am. Back when I ordered my Darwin, it showed up at my house the same day that the last scan was North Houston. So I suspect my wife will be vaping her Darwin this afternoon (after she gets back from taking my daughter to get braces on--- 2 Darwins, and braces in one month= expensive month for me LOL

GREAT ---- Too bad that the braces were cheaper than the Darwin (( hehe - just joking )) Braces = $$$$

Update: just checked USPS and still showing "Electronic Shipping Info Received" --surely not updated since North Houston is not that far from here.......

.

LOL... Good thing I got a decent sized refund on my taxes. Unfortunately this is the last "good" refund I'll be getting. This year I was able to claim 4 kids plus college tuition on 2 of them. This next year, one of the older ones will be too old for me to claim (and yet he still lives at home- sigh!!!). And the other older boy has moved out to attend school in Austin, and is paying his own tuition now. So there goes a large portion of my tax refund.

I expect a full stalker report,.....errr... status report on those evolvers that are out for delivery today. I am only on a mini-stalk today, not big enough for USPS to send out the decoy mailman or anything. But Nhaler orders always make Monday a little better.

Yeay, mine is out for delivery! But, it's hard to stalk the mailman in NC when you are in Florida! Yep, I won't be getting my beloved Darwin until Thursday :( . Oh well...still looking forward to hearing about everyone else's mailman stalking!:pop:

Just got mine in and WOW!

I haven't vaped in over a year and this is my first PV since coming back so there will be some learning curve. Is there a video or any type of manual I can refer to?

I know it's pretty self-explanatory but the main big number on the LCD screen is watts right? I see that when I fire it up it will show the voltage but I'm not getting a reading for Ohms or the other number.

Any way to toggle those or how do I tell?

Also - first time using an adapter and worried about messing up the post. If it fires even if it's not threaded all the way down just leave it be right?

So far I'm hitting it between 7.8-8.5 and it's producing tons of vapor. Great TH on the 510 and I'll have to play with it to get it right on my old favorite atty - the 801.

I'm using SR attys right now from iVape (he's a fellow redditor so ordered from him first).

How do I check out the resistance on these atomizers?

Thanks!

Brandon

You should be getting constant numbers in all 3 upper display numbers: Volts, Amps and Ohms, when the firing button is depressed. They read zeros when it is not firing.
