We miss you SK. When we found out you would not be joining I drove up and met Krisb. Sitting at the bar right now with gear strewn about and vaping our heads off, Darwins, Vari, Reo Mini, GGTB, Provape and a mountain of flavors, cartos and atty's. Krisb is hooked on the Cisco's now!!!! wooooohooo

And mine's the Grey Goose Tonic, easy ice, lemon. Hey, we miss you too! Sounds like you guys are having an amazing time! Wish I was there! Pictures, PLEASE? :D

Well none that could be posted :). Next time everyone needs to make it. We had the bar filled with gear and they let us mix and vape all we wanted. SK let us know if you can break free tomorrow. If not next go round and we won't take no from CG. Thanks Krisb for a nice relaxing evening out with good vapes and great company. Sleep well.

I am a refugee from the Reo camp and have ventured over here to the Darwin campsite.

I "happened" to discover The Darwin and it seems to have everything that I've been missing/looking for. I'd like for as many of you as possible to let me know what you like/dislike about The Darwin. One issue that I'm concerned with is not being able to have my days supply of juice on the unit. I've read some of your postings regarding ce2's, etc and would like more info on what some of you have found successful for all day juicing (I refuse to drip).

Thanks!!! :toast:

We gladly accept refugees GWTW ;) Sure the Darwin plays so nice with cartos and attys due to it's design that they're a logical choice. Lately it seems some new types have come out and are proving to be good and bad. Many of us still use MAP Tanks or equivalent for big juice quantity . They work great with the Darwin, the one drawback is not being able to fold the arm inward to the off position while the tank is mounted. But the performance outweighs that inconvenience by far. Lately some interesting cartos have come on the scene. The Dual-Coil LR 510 has been popular, it holds alot of juice, has great flavor but the downside is that the 2 coils seem to shorten battery life somewhat. In any case, they work well and are carried by Drew. He also has a new 3.5ml carto that does allow the arm to shut, albeit tightly. Still too early to judge performance imo. Of course there's alot else out there and I'm sure you can find an answer to make the Darwin work out for you.

I have 3.5 ml (now aparently termed the Big Gulp?) cartomizers that can hold anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 mls of liquid depending on what you are measureing with that will NOT leak into the unit once filled ... Two of these puppies in your bag or pocket and your good for at least a day...
Its really hard to compete with the Reo as far as a Road Dog PV...I have a couple of them myself and I am ashamed to admit that they out do all my other mods for the car...Its absolutely the nicest, most functional solidly built bottom feeder on the market. I have never had as much as a drop of liquid spill out of any of mine. I can feed them with my eyes closed and the 18650 high drain delivers 12 to 18 hours of vaping...
Now that being sad, I can put a Big Gulp 3.5 or a Jumbo Dripper on My Darwin and go a couple hours without dripping and visit all the settings I want and make any atty do any tricks I want them to do...I have never been able to fall in love with any of the CE2s or the tanks that fit them and truly beleive they have a couple inherent flaws that cant be fixed without a complete redesign. Thats not to say that many dont like them. There are many reports that people are enjoying them but when I inspected the ones I used I found and tasted melted plastic which I am not comfortable using or selling....There are some new Clearomizers on the not so distant hroizon that I will be carrying and I think people will like.
I also think the whole Clearomizer (I can see my liquid) craze is a little more cooolness factor and hype than, form and functionality, but thats just my opine. At the end of the day I want a functional, flavorful, cart whether I can see the liquid or not....I really love the concept of the Tanks on the market and have tried them ALL, but unfortunatley they are (with few exceptions) built around the CE2 Cartos. If you are using a Reo with LR attys and you try vaping a Tank, you in for a flavor let down.
Im not trying to compare these but I hope I gave a good comparison. Thanks for your interest.
Drew

Just the bartender. She ws the only one who woud try it.The place was pretty dead though. Krisb handed some punk from Boston his ... though. He was being a douche and asking why do we need those things and she crushed him. It was pretty funny and I was glad I did not have to embed my Darwin into his forehead. Although I bet it still would have workd even if I did

I am pretty sure Brandon would consider "Embedded into a non-Darwinian forehead" as a warranty related issue and replace it for you. :)

Well we would have done two nights in a row. It would have been great to have you there. Essentially we just vaped away on a bar full of various devices. I hooked Krisb up with a Cisco 2.0 306 and an Iken Gold V2 Drip Carto. She handed me a "Big Gulp" and I am hitting that right now. Flavor is a little muted but it does hold a handsome amount of inventory and hits well. I brought the DIY kit and 75mls of base juice and we made up some good sauces. Night went by way too fast and they kicked us out at 1am. As usual it is funny how quickly time goes by when you are hanging out with people that have similar interests and having fun! WE WILL DO THIS AGAIN and all are welcome. Hell they even asked us to come back and do a demonstration for their patrons. Can anyone say business opportunity????

Yeah, we'll get another meet together for sure.
So far on this trip, I have actually run into 2 fellow vapers. One dude on an older style 808 and older man and wife, both with Ego-T's! Pretty cool...Naturally, I had to pull out the firepower and I wouldn't be surprised to see the one guy come on here. The couple were perfectly content with their Egos. Every time I come to this city, I am still amazed at how many people still smoke!

Got the TV BNB order last night and it really smells good.....1 oz. 48mg and 4 oz. doubler, so I will mix it down to 12mg. before trying it.....120ml of 12mg juice and 30ml of extra doubler left over. Planned to give several 30ml. bottles to vape buddies here to try. The extra 30 ml goes to one vape buddie since he has his nic juice to add to it, thus all of the order is spoken for...seems to be pretty cost effective when getting the 4 oz doubler....

This is an adventure into the unknown for me as I only vape tobacco flavors (up until now) so we will see......comments also say that BNB is best when used with an atty as opposed to a carto, so will just have to try both.....

Welcome, GWTW. Most Darwinians aren't about or but and. And, yes, corny sayings like that are why my team at work is plotting to kill me.

You can and should be a Reonaut and a Darwinian. Rarely do I travel without my Reo as at least one of my back-up PVs simply because...hey, it feeds itself. Drew gave you the perfect breakdown but I just want to second the recommendation for the Big Gulp carto.

I have and love MAP tanks but I don't take them out with me and Darwin in the car. That's where the Big Gulp shines as a replacement. The new fat wick CE2's are good but at only 1.8ml...still have to worry about topping off. The Turbine looks good but requires a special atty so I'm kinda circling that as a choice right now. Will wait for the next batch to gain a sense of how folks love 'em.

Ski and Kris, so glad you had a great time. So sorry I missed Kris take care of bar trash. i miss ALL THE FUN!
