but I really owe that to my son.
That's just awesome and beautifully put, lowboy. Such love.
but I really owe that to my son.
But I didn't and I was there.
Angus, only helps if you have ANY Luck at all! LOL
I have entered several, but great to see others get some goodies!
I have not won anything here or anywhere else for that fact.
BUT
I have won a better life and all the help from people here has contributed to that but I really owe that to my son.
The funny part is-there are no pointers.
Add atomizer or carto, spin the wheel, plug it in every night/other night, keep the juice out of the wheel (drip shield helps if you haven't mastered dripping) and know the contact info needed if a problem arises. The one really good pointer is to know if the screen shuts down, take off the offending atty/carto. That is the Darwin saying something is wrong. ...
It pays (and will pay in the future) to keep an eye on the Member Contests Forum...
Here is something to make some noise about...
306 Atomizers
These are Version 10 or higher I kinda lost count...I have been working on these attys for with a little help from a freind and have sold different variations of these for the last year. These are all you ever wanted in a 306 atty and however you want it...Whatever your mood or preference there is something here for all devices.
Drew, good info!
I love that you designated these attys for use with the D'win. I think that's a first.
I also got a HUGE kick out of your terminology! ISH!
...
I can't just order a couple attys but they're in my cart. Have already gone through a pack of the 510 megas so won't be long before I'm trying these out. ...
I have won a better life and all the help from people here has contributed to that but I really owe that to my son.
Love your blog, Angus! I have no luck so...do you have candy?
Want some candy, little girl?![]()
You'd think I'd have learned by now...when Angus is in a thread do not take a swig of coffee before reading his posts.... Off to get some paper towels!

Your Welcome...I was actually away from home and my wife got me with one of the best April Fools jokes EVER. She told me the Darwins arrived and they were all broken and asked why Sean put them up on the site if they were all broken!!!!
She actually got me the day before and said it was an early April Foools joke!!! I was crushed...
Im thinking up next years already...

It has been mentioned here by several people that the LR atties do not allow the Darwin to shine on it's range. The Darwin can only go as low as 3.6 to 3.7 volts no matter what atty is on it. It simply cannot go lower. The whole point of low resistance atties is to allow users with 3.7 volt devices to simulate high voltage vaping. This is totally unnecessary on the Darwin. If you want more heat you just turn up the dial. Adding to all of that is the fact that LR atties tend to burn out so much faster than standard. Sticking to Standard or even high resistance atties on the Darwin will really let it shine.Hi Guys,
I am a happy Darwin user for about two weeks. Today I started to see strange things:
The arm was quite loose from the first moment but now it feels to come off any minute.
The LCD sometimes turn off without any reason while the machine still fires and works.
Also if I accidentally push the LCD just a bit it turns off, but again the device is firing and even the backlight turns on.
I bought several new attys and tested them today. The 306LR which should be around 1.4 ohm reads 0.9 ohms on Darwin and puts out 3.6 amper current even at 4.2 watts! I also bought a 510LV which should be 2.2 ohms but the Darwin reads 1.5 ohm. Am I this pathetic tom have two bad attys on the same day?! (though they are working fine.)
Have any of you come across the above issues? Do you have a solution for these?
Thanks in advance!

Actually the reason for this (as told to me by my post office) is that the Postal service re-uses tracking numbers every 2 years. I have been noticing the same thing on many of my orders through several venders. It's definitely good for a chuckle.LOL, you have to love the USPS tracking system...
I ordered my Darwin, along with some other stuff, this last Saturday, the 16th. Here's what the tracking currently shows:
Shipped on: April 6th, 2009
In the Scan History it shows Electronic Notification was received on April 18, 2011.
So, I guess I was the first one to have a Darwin shipped. Likely before the creators even had a prototype... I know the postal service can be slow, but that's over two years and I still haven't received the shipment.![]()

As for your loose arm, I would shoot an email to evolv directly. They will take care of that problem pronto.
The new 2.0 Drew has just started selling at least offers some wiggle room on the Darwin. Both of your other atties were quite a bit lower in the resistance area. It is possible that the 2 atties you were trying to use were reported at a higher resistance than they actually are. There has to be some room for a small variance with any atty/carto. Either way, the Darwin simply cannot deliver less than 3.6 to 3.7 volts no matter how low you set the watts to. Lots of people still love the LR atties and continue to use them on Darwin. You just get a lot more room to play with standard resistance. It is also possible that your Darwin has a glitch related to your loose arm. Thanks, but if Darwin is not for LR why are so many people praising the 2.0 custom atty from Drew? 2.0 is not standard but much closer to LR...
