Morning all. I was not missing just sleeping krisb. Tough week and the lazy boy grabbed me and next thing I knew it was 6 am! Happy to hear you made it back safe and sound!
Thanks L2S,
I did try to snug the screws a bit but they seem tight already. Glad to hear I don't have to worry with it coming apart.
My Provari is just not pocket able enough to carry around comfortably. I suspect I'll be going through a lot of juice today playing with this thing.
H8 - I also have a Vari and have found the same. For pocket freindly the Darwin is far ahead. Also for travel since you can charge via USB. Mine has been to several Countries already and will e heading to China w/me next week
Welcome to the Darwin club. Pretty soon we're going to have to make a Houston-Area Darwin Owners sub-forum LOL
Thanks rock, are there more than the two of us so far?? .
Do you travel with it in your carry on? any issue with TSA? Been reading it's been "iffy" lately. I've never had a problem before with my others, but since this looks nothing like a e-cig I figure they won't even ask.
Thanks rock, are there more than the two of us so far?? lol
Hamdamann, thanks for the info, I feel much more confident in taking it along with only my ego backup now.
My wife makes 3, and at a Houston Vape Meet a couple months ago I met 2 other guys with Darwins. And I've noticed some other area folks with Darwins posting in various threads on ECF
Thanks Retird, This is one of the friendliest forums I can recall being associated with.Welcome to Darwinville....happy to have you and enjoy............
I travel for business often and regularly. I ONLY fly carry on. I have not had an issue so far. Last flight was two weeks ago from London to NY. I do carry a padded SASE with me just in case since in this day and age you never know.
I recently flew to Dominican Republic with 3 Darwins , a Rio Grand,a Helix, An Xhaler and like 200 mls of liquid in different sized bottles (6Ml, 30Ml) in my Lap Top/Carry On, and they never even blinked!!! I thought for sure they were going to open my bag...

Were you bringing enough for all the TSA agents just in case?? lolI finally got a webcam working.
Here I'm vaping GP-Wild Berry Champagne from my new GP-SSR hooked up to a TTT gooseneck on my Darwin.
Hey BigBopper,
Was your gooseneck really, really tight when you got it? I've tried w/ mine and the GP-SSR and I can barely get anything out of it. I've loosened the adjustment screw in both pieces...
Good idea on the envelope. I'll bring one just in case.
Were you bringing enough for all the TSA agents just in case?? lol
I guess you're able to just call them "commercial samples" with that quantity. I've seen many of your vids but I don't believe even you could vape THAT much in one flight. But I can only imagine the explaining that would be required if they had opened it up.
Thanks for the info. Y'all are awesome!
The adapter I got with my SSR pretty much closed off the airflow, luckily I had another one that worked. I have since discovered that you can unscrew the center post in the adapter, which you can use to adjust the airflow. Both adapters are working fine now. The problem is when the center post is too short, the SSR screws down too far and shuts off the airflow. Lengthening the center post keeps it from blocking the air.
