The Darwin From Evolv!!!

Lmao, I was the same way with the CP. First couple times with it, I couldn't figure out why it was so loved. In my last bunch I got coconut cheesecake and oh my does it blend well with so many juices, strangely. Not sure its all that alone, but mixed with butter rum or German chocolate cake and yum! Still needs to sit for a bit, but its getting better every day.

The very same thing (patent) is being hashed over with another supplier over the whole bottom button activation thing. Some pretty forceful letters were sent to various suppliers telling them they needed to stop making mods with bottom activating buttons. This makes 2 venders I will NEVER buy from again. The good news is that it usually takes quite a long time (can be 5 years) for a patent to be approved. I understand them trying to protect their ideas, but this comes off to the masses as just another ploy to make more money off of other venders (like venders purchasing the right to make VV mods).

I don't think Darwin users need to be concerned about the whole VV patent issue going around right now. I've talked to Brandon before about it, and he told me that Evolv took care of their patent before they launched the Darwin. The Darwin is a Variable Power device, not a Variable Voltage, so it wouldn't be affected by the whole thing.

Parma does this make 3 venders you won't buy from again. Or are these smart business people who want some protection on the very expensive investment they've made.

I commend Mike and Drew for being on the forefront and pushing this industry to greater things. We all benefit from their efforts.

This really isn't the thread for this. I strongly support protecting your hard work, but I think coveting it too broadly is a bit greedy and probably won't be accepted anyway.

Wharf, I've always liked you and I can understand Mike protecting intellectual property that is rightfully his. However, I think the court of public opinion may conclude that he has overstepped those bounds. In fact, the first commercially sold VV using Buck-Boost circuitry was not the Buzz at all, but rather Nuck's Fistpack which sold it's first unit 2 full months before the Buzz introduction. So it is very debatable whether this
Is even Buzzkill's property to protect in the first place. I am so done with this topic and as krisb said. This is not the thread for this debate anyway.

Yup. Omg good! The cheesecake is a drop down where you can up to two more flavors. I added coconut assuming I'd add it to the German choc. Cake. I mixed half that to half butter rum. Think adding a bit mire of the CC than the BR would be a better balance. I can send u off a sample.
