Credo, this is unusual, because a few hours ago I was reading up on the Boge Revolution. Is your a V2 or V2.1? In the earlier versions there was some mis-labeling of batteries I think 2.1 was when they dumped the 'negative ion generator' and went for a second batt, for 1400 Mah.

I have no experience with a feeder, but had been considering a Darwin backup as well, and was looking at this. I saw somewhere where there was a comment that it would leak on it's side. Is this inherent to a bottom feeder in general?

After I vaped with a big batt 510 enough to realize that I could indeed quit smoking, I chose Darwin after a research marathon. I mow a couple of acres regularly, and use my 510 for that. I do not want to risk dropping Darwin while doing that (Will It Mow?).

A homemade lanyard and the 510 is good enough for a couple of hours.

My Reo Grand lays on it's side just fine... doesnt leak... even with 80/20

Just got it and so far no problems.
Came from Nhaler, and the link I clicked says it's 1400mah.
It does still have the ANION thing on it...
It's very light...feels good in the hand.

On leaks and stuff, it's too early to tell. I'll do up a quick personal review in a thread of its own after playing with it for several days. From handling it so far, I can see where it might leak around or through the atty at some point (but can't any bottom feeder do that?). A feeding tube would be nice for use with regular atties but I'm not having a single problem feeding it with a tilt and squeeze, and a little hose is easy enough to plug in there myself.

So far I'm thinking it's worth $50 for sure. A more 'proven' mod that does all this is gonna START at $140...and that's without batteries and chargers. Other stuff out there of similar quality tends to start around $50 with NO BATTERIES or chargers.

Oh darn it. The site where my banner is from has expired and now I have a lovely little x in it's place. Now to find someone with graphics skills to make me a custom darwin banner with a smoke free counter :(

Edit: Well, at least I got the monkey one to work but if someone feels like making me a really sweet one that would be awesome :D
Not saying that the monkey isn't sweet because it is.

They work fine. Drip tip is a must, they get hotter than anything else I've ever seen, even with very, very, short bursts....
Nice thanks. So they work okay. This kind of scared me
"with a switch capable of handling 2 or more amps. Your results may vary and the protection circuits on some batteries at higher voltages may see these as a short and not work."
Is the taste of juice more intense?

What he is wondering is this:

The darwin's dual lipo flatpack has a maximum rated discharge rate of 3A... with a tripple coil carto, the most a darwin can push to teh thing is 12, maybe 13 watts.
So, that's only 4 watts per coil.

I don't have much experience in using dual coils, or triple coils.. so I don't know how much that changes the vape (Lower actual wattage to the coils , but another coil to make up for it)

The darwin will effectively only go up to 4.1-4.2v with a triple coil carto attached (that would be 12.5 watts with 1.4 ohms resistance)...

I'm think he's wondering if the performance level we even be worth it over a dual coil carto, where he's getting 6.5watts or so to each of the coils (more actual heat)

Best way I could word it, lol.

Honestly, in my opinion, triple coils would be best used on a mod with some AW IMR 18650s in a series, with the wiring/switch/everything rated for 4 Amps or so, you go over the 3 Amp mark with dual coils right around the point they start putting out really good vapor, i'm thinking... but I could be totally wrong, i've never used them!
