The Darwin From Evolv!!!

Wow, I also have an original 1974 Fender Vibrochamp. I retubed it with JJ, and put a Heyboyer output tranny in it, so it can do 4/8/16 ohm output. It is the King of Clean. Also have a little 5w Blackheart head, play it through a freshly reconed 1954 jensen 12", sweet stuff. I like the little Class A amps, that 100 watt stuff through full stacks is just insane. Suitable for stadiums with no PA, but not much else. All of the 'big shows' with a wall of amps, are just empty boxes for show.

I'm more of a keyboard player that owns guitars... I have a '57 Hammond, and an old Moog, and a Jupiter 8, and....

No issues there NV a few of us have various side discussions here too, nobody minds. While the Darwin totally rocks so does music and sex! Now if you start to discuss quilting or coupon trading we will begin to worry

Correct me if I'm wrong but I've understood that computers usb output (at least in most computers) is just 500mA. So it's slower compared to for example 1A wall plug.

It depends on the amp draw of the charger built into the Darwin. I've not seen a spec on it but I'm guessing it's 500 or 750 mA. The wall charger that comes with the the Darwin is only 800mA.

Whatever the amp draw of the internal charger is the max, so if the Darwin can draw 750mA and you use a 500mA adapter then yes it will be slightly slower. If you use a 1000mA (1A) adapter the Darwin will only draw 750mA, using a 2000mA (2A) unit will not speed it up as it will only draw 750mA

The Mazzola oil is free, Now the tarp -------Well we will have to work a little something something out for that one. Unless you bring Krisb along then oh well you fill in the rest. I guess we would sit around looking at the tarp and oil while vaping away on the Darwins filled w/Choc. Caramel Cookies. NOT!!!!!!!

Hey, I'm sitting in Shreveport on a biz trip...bored to death so here ya go!

Hell yeah now were are the girls???? Shreveport huh did you phone home yet??? we all felt that Virginia quake in Upstate. I have felt them before but this one went on for about 45 secs and was pretty strong for the Albany area. No damage but you could see the building moving.

I was in an elevator in queens, it was banging against the shaft - I thought the elevator was breaking! then I heard about the earthquake when I got out of it. some crazy stuff! imagine being in a high rise in downtown manhattan.. building swaying.. I hear it felt like being on a boat

Yeah, I heard you could feel it in NY! But no damage to report at home. No earthquakes here, just 105 degrees is all! It still 100 out!

Hey Jimbalny yes that does sound nerve racking. With that aside I do have to point something out since we are on a trip to the gutter ----- you just typed "banging against the shaft". Now when the Ladies read this all talk of the earthquake will cease and who knows where it will go from there
