Well there you have it problem solved by NB. Very nice. Might want to slap this over in KD's thread to help others so it does not get buried

Thank you, Ski-ster. I agree. I have suggested on a number of occasions that certain posts be added to the sticky. Perhaps in a week or so when I have the time to dive in (don't go there!), I'll do as you suggested. Nebula, perhaps you can help me out with the task? It's just a matter of finding out what questions are asked most and providing simple answers to them. That's what I intended with the Research Monkey Sticky. Drew, up to you and Brandon of course, as the final say-so.
Ski, your quote below is important to add in as well.

Carto is shot and is creating a short. The flashing cig has been added to newer rev models. try another carto and that should work. If this is a new carto I have seen it happen before. Remember they are made by hand so manufacturing errors can occur

I was thinking, the only thing I dislike about the darwin is that I can't use my ego mega atties or cartos on it without using a gooseneck which, even with the 3" gooseneck is way too long. Only, only if the darwin 2 could have an arm that telescopes out a little bit so you could put bigger atties on it without compromising the durability of the device.. or what I was thinking of trying to make a 510-510 adapter that offsets so that I could put a 510-ego on top of that and happily vape my mega b atties. The only thing is that it would have to be flexible or adjustable itself in order to be in the right direction when threaded in as to not hit the body.

Any ideas anyone?

I've used Giantomizers, Visions, Turbines, eGo T, and 801s on mine and they open and close fine. Also 901 and 510 stuff with the Empire Drip Shield.

I do keep a series of extension/adapters on it.
510>510 (the one that came with it), 510>901 (these two rarely ever get taken off).
From the 901 go to whatever type I'm going to vape with...most common 901 back to 510 for cartos or to 801 for atties.

Why that combo...it's just what I had...plus it's nice to always have options 'on my pv' so I always have them with me :) Also the 901>510 combo works well with the empire drip shield.

I've also used the 'battery extension' type adapters too. I like the draw better with the stack described...slightly different, and also adjustable with my stack of stuff (space out the gaps more for a lighter draw).

Oh, I will go there kata assuming that "don't go there" is the thought that crossed your mind when you went to dive in ;) and the funny part will be that you have no idea who this is :p

kata? Ok, it's hysterical. Who are you? The funny part is that it's not funny.

(Panks, please unlike this.)

I recognized most of the EQ you mentioned, Credo, but what is the "Visons" and are they any good? I have 2 of the Empire Drip Shields and I like them as well, not to mention the fact that they 'dress up' any PV!

So with all the varied extenders on the D'win, do you notice the vape getting airier? Cooler?

Vision 2 is a Giant CE2 clone.

The extensions can change the draw...the setup I have is somewhat adjustable depending on how I adjust the spacing (which ones I screw further down, which in turn pushes their centers up or down, etc.)
They don't effect the power in any noticeable way. Cartos read the same resistance with or without them so I assume it's all good.

Not sneaky Panky thought we had a wack job in Darwinia. Glad it was just you

Wack Job: courtesy of Urban Dictionary

Someone who is crazy and/or has lost their mind and acts like a damn lunatic. Someone you should avoid at all costs as they may be a harm to yourself or others.

Let's cross the street. We don't want to walk next to that wack job on the corner who's walking in circles and talking to himself.

And I don't fit this description?!

Yup... The sleepless nights start as soon as you see "shipment accepted." My problem now is forgetting to order 2nd day shipping before a holiday weekend

Ego Mega Dual Coil Carto (EMDCC) on Darwin using only a standard 510 to 510 extender (approx 1" long) - Darwin also has standard 510 to 510 adapter on it:

Nebula you beat me to it. I use this adaptor for my Ego Mega's all the time.

Just went from Cali to Florida. On the way there I packed my Darwin on my check in luggage. Did not like that because I was not with it while it went through security. If your going to take my Darwin than please do it in front of me so I can put up a fight. My wife saw me trying to watch the luggage go through security. I kept saying "they will page me if there is a problem, right?" She said no, they will just take it and throw it away. It made it to Florida, but Iwill never be seperated from it again. I carried it on on the way home & received no problem. bottom line is, never be seperated from your baby & if I could have purchased a first class seat for my Darwin I definitely would have.

Love that! The visual is wonderful! I picture your Darwin sitting atop a royal purple tasseled pillow, surrounded by scattered peeled green grapes.

You are braver than I. I carry two Darwins with me when I travel. Always in my computer bag and always on the plane with me. They have been all over the world and the only place I was ever questioned was in a small airport in Ningbo China. Pulled the Darwin out of the computer bag took a big blast and showed them a nice cloud. I was quickly on my way after that. I do however carry a padded envelope with me and $10 worth of stamps incase someone ever changes the rules then I can just amil them back to myself

Panky all is good. If you had replied under your Panky handle nobody would have blinked an eye :). But with the OMG handle I was thinking who is this and how did someone with only 13 posts find the land of Darwin and start hitting on our women. We do not have enough Ladies in here and we need to keep the Harem we have in the tent else we will be running with the sheep and goats. Mazolla, tarps, donward facing sheep just do not do it for me !!! Happy vapes man

Wow I've been gone for a week and there's 50 new pages!!!! Anyways, I'm loving my Darwin!!!! It hasn't left my side...lol anything I put on it, Darwin performs flawlessly. Right now I'm using a i06 atty from Ikenvape wow!!! The flavor is incredible!!

Now the only thing I have waiting on are 2 Genisis LV atties.
I have no idea why that person who shall not be named, from across the pond gave the Darwin such a crappy review. I can't understand anyone who tried it wouldn't absolutely fall in Love w/ it...Anyways, Drew and the peeps at Evolv thank you so much for putting such a awesome PV on the market.

I can't understand how someone couldn't LOVE a Darwin?!! The only thing it's missing is a feeder system.
