Panks, I've only recently tried a drip shield, was very curious about them for a long time. I've found they really are spectacular accessories :vapor: Mines pretty plain-looking, though, one of the black ones from Avid Vaper and not the Empire ones

BTW ime, isn't that drip shield upside-down?
Nice drip tip, too :2cool:

is dewick the same as debriding? wont it flood esier? i think you can get de bridged attys from madvapes too, i havnt tried all that yet

Debridging is taking out the whole metal bridge with the mesh on it. The wick is just the piece that runs through the coil. When I dewick my 306 attys, I don't take out the little piece that runs through the coil because it can spit hot liquid sometimes which hasn't happened with any of my 510s yet. The problem with the 510 is that I can't get anything inside to cut the wick so I actually have to pull the whole thing out. As far as flooding goes, I haven't had a problem with that either. I usually have to wipe off some leakage at the bottom of my 306 if I overdrip but haven't had to do it once with the 510 for some reason

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, I sure the year has gone fast and been a little easier with the Darwin, Congrats

P.S. to Krisb- I don't know how to change my Avatar, can you help me change it?

Save the pic and then open it with paint or something and then use the "save as" to change it to a .jpg file. That will solve the problem :D It took me a few minutes to figure it out as well.

Kat, I left it as a gif and it uploaded just fine. As long as it's within the max size limits you're good to go

i tried doing that lats night, and it wasnt working, said wrong image type when i tried to upload it... whenever i would download it to my desktop it would save as gif even though i said to save as jpeg, i had to save it to a library folder and then it worked fine, changing the name of the file didnt work, i couldnt change the file type

I have read all 831 pages, the manual which took me the longest but I have not come across this tip:
[snippage ensues]

Courtesy of ski, where is the anniversary boy? Oops, I thought you meant that drip tip? I carry mine in a shirt pocket a lot, but carry it with the hinge down. In an extreme case of a freshly (over?) filled carto, it could possibly leak like this.
