Good news and bad news... The bad news is, I used it all day today and just am not in love with... The good news is that it vapes amazing and that's truthly all that matters. Other good new is that if someone wants a Darwin, I will most likely sell it to you, as you know she is only a day old, and mint. If you you want to contact me, feel free. I am waay more comfortable with my tubes...

Took me a while to appreciate automatic transmissions, tilt steering, great fuel efficency, 15,000 miles between oil changes, and power windows too. These day's I can't stand to drive without those perks. To each his own :)

I second the suggestion to give it several days of use. Don't forget that there is no rule that says the arm has to be extended 'fully' when you vape. When it comes to tanks, the Darwin Form factor is really hard to beat. Set the arm at around 90 degrees and you have the steadiest 'platform' in the industry for setting your PV down without worrying about it flipping or tipping. A very ergonomic form factor.

Thank you guys for all the support and suggestions! I bought it because I wanted a more pocket friendly device. What I found was that it was just not the case. The fuction was awesome, the form just wasn't for me. It's VERY lightweight and slim sleek design, but for my vaping style (with a tank) it just wasn't designed for it. I tried y'all... I did. Just not suitable for my needs. I will say it again... It's an awesome device, and if I were still dripping, it would be the ultimate!

Chief, knew you would move it fast in the classy's....Darwins are that way.....must say that, for me, the Darwin is the most pocket friendly that I've found....hate that it was not pocket friendly for you....I always had problems with tubes in my pocket...when I would bend or set down, the atty's/carto's would break off.....not the case with the Darwin....

Again, glad you were able to try the Darwin....let us know when you find your "happy place".....

At least you're not English, Chief. ;) Best wishes on the next device. Glad you joined us albeit briefly.

I am not one of them and I never need to worry about anyone asking me "Is that a tube mod in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"
Happy weekend all - I'm off to Vegas Vapefest! :vapor:

I'm just happy to see you (go to Vegas Vapefest, I mean) ;).

Congrats, Tearose50! Keep playing around with the wheel, you will find many new tastes, within your same old juices. KD wouldn't steer you wrong. Or at least, not *too* wrong.

Oh yes I would. Have. And will do again.

...Technically this probably isn't considered a true PT, in that you aren't really vaping straight from the power from the USB. It is more of an in-line battery. You are vaping from the battery, while it is charging...

I think the term "pass-through" is used incorrectly quite often, not only in regard to the Darwin.
There are quite a few production units, as well as mods, that you can vape while it is charging, but very few, if any, of them actually use the current from the charger for vaping. All of them that I've seen still use the battery for vaping, but still allow it to be charging while using.

TR, or tea, or tearose, or Darwinian-------Chief put it up and sold it to Dan Patrick.......maybe Dan will pop in so we can welcome him....

And like I say........call me what ya want, but call me to dinner......so TR, or tea, or tearose, or Darwinian--have a good evening....thats a long name, so I think just TR.....;):):)

I'm here, I'm here! I just love, love the Darwin. I bought one on the classys yesterday from Cheif. I am not completely new to the Darwin, I tried one a friend had and wasn't that interested. Then he sent me one to play with for a couple of weeks. Right about the same time, I was really starting to fool around with DCCartos again. So of course I had a new opinion on the Darwin!

I saw Basils Darwin review and popped on some io6's from Iken.

I sent my friends Darwin back to him last week, and I was sad to see it go. Went online and they had some in stock so I figured I would buy one, no hurry...then I go back and they were out again.

Chiefs post came in the nic of time. Glad to buy from a fellow Texan, and one so close to me. I had the 2 3.5 i06's already, and 2 fresh boxes of DCC's so I really just bought the Darwin as an over 200 dollar accessory to my atomizers. Kinda got the cart before the horse, but it will all be sorted out soon.

Getting some good information here. Glad to be the new kid on the block, and hope to be fan boy number one as a Darwin owner.

Welcome to the club Dan Patrick, or in Darwin land to be known as DP. Yes DP will work......Wait till KD and Krisb see that one I can not wait till they type DP, oh the fun we will have. Anyway congrats and enjoy the new Darwin

Thanks LS! DP is how I sign all my emails. Just so glad I found the thread and glad to have walked up out of the muck, on to the beach with my own tow legs and evolved.

I always take 2 mods with me to work, REO mini and a ShanB VV Splash mod box from Vapecore. Now the Darwin will be my 2nd at work friend. The VV will be on tank duty at the house, with her buddies Monkeyboxx VV, Black Matt Gooseneck Freak Provari, and Silver Bullet. I think I have just about reached the end of mod ..... search. I think I might get the wife a second GLV Supermini this time in red and ingraved, she loves hers. But if Drew comes out with a red Darwin. Just FYI some ladies don't' like pink or purple. I think Red is an awesome color, its for guys and girls. And if you are ever up for a sales job and they ask you what your favorite color is...answer it RED. The color of strength, health, and vitality, Red is often the color chosen by someone outgoing, and aggressive.

Hi DP, welcome to the tangled land of Darwinia! It's funny, we will type pages and pages about our favorite device, but cut down typing our nicks to just a few letters... I am usually nano or NV.

You are an unusual breed of new user here, in that you have already been pre-Darwinated. What would it mean if my favorite color is black? I am not a Goth, nor a James Dean wannabe. If I am up for a sales job, I will remember your advice, however.

Beast, looks like the hole in your carto is drilled, do you notice any difference between drilled or punched holes ? if you have you used both ?
