yeah, "for now" is right . . . my vaping tally is about twice what I would have spent on cigs, I've stopped keeping track. There's a few more things I want, though (aren't there always?)

SmokTech makes some 4 and 4.5 ohm cartos, only place I've seen 'em is MV, but I haven't heard anything about them. Those are probably more for those crazy-folk who insist on vaping at 7.4 volts all the time . . . I'd still give 'em a try just for the helluvit, maybe I will next time I order something from them

I know what you're saying, though. LR stuff only goes on my 3.7 volt mods nowadays, and I don't use those PV's often

those might close on darwin if you use the 1" 510 to 510 extension. I use that on top of the now-locked in 510 to 510 that comes on Darwin and my FOG tank closes. the extra length somehow allows the arm to close. Works with EMDCCs too.

Nebs, doesn't work, you need to have some sort of offset to make the G-Tanks work, anything bigger then a 1/2 wide will not close on a Darwin unless you have an offset of some sort. The "S" Adapter I still say would come in very handy for all of us, I hope Drew speaks to Brandon some and they come up with one of these, just like a reg 510-510 Adapter but in the "S" shape

actually im begining to like regular resistence cartos, are there any high voltage ones out there or something like a boge 3ohm but bigger? mostly i just see the low resistence ones, which i dont mind but they kill battery life

With the single coils, it should not be a huge difference in battery life for these. It's the Dualies that suck it down pretty fast.

If you favor the poly-fill type cartos...don't rule out KR808D-1 or 801 cartos (3 Ohm Standard on these I believe). Horizontal coil cartos have a different feel/taste/draw to them...and to me they don't seem to need as frequent of a 'top off' to keep them wet.

Don't have a G-Tank so I do not know the diameter. However, FOG tank and EMDCCs are both 14 mm and they close.

Yes Nebs, 14 mm = 0.551181 just about a 1/2" like I said, it also make the Brass arm work much harder by putting more stress on it in my opinion only by making it wiggle more when you have a tight tolerance like that ! Bottom line I think is we all would like a simple "S' shaped adapter or at least me and some others would, it would not only look very nice, be sleek, stealthy, it would enable all of us to fit are bigger tanks ;-) Now where is that Skirt wearing dude Drew at with are "S" adapters:laugh: Gotta love that guy, even if he has worn a skirt he's still one bad azz dude who can make an 'S" Adapter come to life !:2cool:

Yeah i think the S shaped adapter would be good.... only problem with that is tons of diff sizes would have to be made to accommodate different accessories otherwise it would end up looking really bad. And trying to get the threads screwed on exactly right to where the adapter is facing outwards would be a huge pain as well. Just my :2c:

My previous post....

How about just an offset adapter with a built-in swivel and set screw...screw onto existing 510 and swivel to the position you want, then tighten the set screw......

My previous post....kind of :)

Hell yes, I want that! :D

I'll be in China again in early or mid 2012 (I just came back from a long trip there). If no one makes one and someone can give me schematics that I can give to a factory engineer, I can do a run of a few hundred no problem. This kind of product is way small for what I do, but I want this bad enough that I will put the factory's work on hold and take the financial loss to do a run of these. I would've done it a few weeks ago if someone could've given me a schematic I could use when I last posted, just saying. :p

I disagree, a small "S" with the proper threads would enable you to put anything you want on your Darwin, proper threading so when you turned it on so it would be tight at a 90% angle to the unit is not hard to do either. This is just a very simple yet effective way to make just about EVERYTHING work on the Darwin the way I see it. One size fits all, you wouldn't need different sizes at all. !

A 1/2" offset would be perfect, thus allowing the Darwin to be able to handle tanks and anything up to 1" ++ I think this would be plent and a simple small "S" would allow for this 1/2" just like the small 510-510 adapters we use now but in the "S".

Jimbalny what you have is nice and serves the purpose for you good thinking. I just would like to see the small "S" it would be very stealthy looking and not ad to much to the Arm of the unit, it would look clean and solve the issues some of us are having.

Drew where ya at, you on this man ?
