yeahh MWA we are lucky, I got all that but without the blue scree, still this screen is fine, it seems brighter, but then again EVERYTHING looks better today :p

Well I wanted a Blue Darwin now it looks like my impulsiveness will have me buying another and it will have a Blue screen. I will then have a Darwin for each hand and each foot. This shall put the vaping monkey to shame but alas that leaves me without an apendage available to spank the monkey.

I know it's a sickness!! As I look at all my gear I am thinking who really needs all this stuff?? Wait I do!!! Now I am thinking about adding another Darwin and that is even before the GLV3 hits the mailbox.

BTW I know you like tanks have you tried the VPX yet??? I have tanks from several suppliers. Since you also like the high end stuff these S/S VPX's are freakin awesome. I have thrown Boge's, Iken V2's and of course the Fusions at these things and they are awesome. The only thing I have changed up is I slot the cartos rather than pierce. No leaks and great performance. The S/S just looks great too.

Take up yoga and work on your flexibility and you'll figure something out

Ski, I have been scoring my carto's but not going all the way through, then I take a big sewing needle and make a very small hole, sometime two holes, I have found that these smaller holes create a greater suction and pull just the right amount of liquids into the carto, thus the carto not always getting slushy and lasting much longer never flooding and better draw without such a big hole.... give it a whirl Liv

I have not tried the VPX as of yet,,, I will,,, and the pyrex ones are on the top of my list right now too.

I'm getting ready to buy a backup Darwin and a VVPV, saw the Darwin was out of stock and now read about all these nice improvements. Drew, when you get new stock in will they all be with the new improvements?

Just an update to my charging issue. It seems to be gone. Its interesting, I switched chargers and my Darwin stopped dying. 2 days ago I went back to my old charger and it still not dying.

I am wondering if this was a vicious cycle? The low battery time started when my Darwin died after a long day of use. Plugged it in and used it the next day like normal and that was the beginning of the low charge issue. It died 3 days in a row. I switched chargers and let it charge for a full night, day and night. Now its ok, even on the old charger. Maybe it just wasn't getting fully charged?

Anyway, happy to have a Darwin that lasts all day again :). Want to give a say a big thank you to Rob0506, who was extremely helpful!

I like this new screen, you really cant see it until you hit the power button, otherwise it is a nice dark blue color, the pics dont do it justice but here's a couple below

Is that a Torpedo tank MWA? Did you get your MWA tank working on it with a 306/i06? I got it kind of working with mine. Tired a bunch of O rings and found one that slows the leak from around the atty threads a ton but it still leaks, just really slowly. Would be curious to know if you found a permanent solution and if you also ended up making a 306 tube that fits that tank?

Right on.....if there is an issue Brandon will fix it, but to create issues just to get an improved Darwin, to me, is not even a consideration. Just saying.....
I'm not going to damage mine, I love it too much. I'll just buy another one instead. Besides, we gotta keep great people like Drew and Brandon in business, don't we? LOL

One thing about LiPo cells, once they fall below a certain voltage (as I recall it's 3.2V per cell) they need to charge at a slower rate for some time until the voltage raises. I didn't think that would be the problem because I assumed that the Darwin would cut off at that point, but I suppose it could have dipped below a little bit and needed to charge at the "0.1C" rate for a period of time.

So glad to hear your Darwin is back in the game again! Mine quit for a couple of days and it was horrible. I need a backup.

Yeah, I know everyone is just playing. Damaging a Darwin to get an updated Darwin? That's like destroying a Picasso to get a Matisse. Sure it might be an upgrade, but you are still destroying a work of art!

L2S....your post about carto's in the other thread was right on.....but the thread closed before I could post.....

Thanks retird. In one month you will be a Vet and then can help with those types of posts. They are from a section of the forum called "ask the Vets". When someone posts in that section from the general forum the post becomes hidden. Vets can see them and provide an answer. After a few days the MOD's move the question and answer back to the main forum and the thread is locked. There are several in our Darwin family (such as yourself) that will certainly be able to provide valubale answers and support once they reach the Vet milestone. Thanks again and Happy vapes retird!!!!

BTW - I hope he takes the advise. Seems like a ton of effort and a non needed daily ritual.

Yes, Brandon and Drew go the extra mile sometimes, but all I ever expected was a simple repair instead of a complete replacement.
Glad you are liking it.....i am just about ready to get my second one (backup) and several "kicks" when they come out....then all my PV's will be variable wattage (Evolv style)....IMO it don't get any better than that(at least that is my preference)
There no guarantee you would get a new version either.. he may just repair yours and send it back to ya.. then you would have been out of a Darwin for like a week... By the way, I have not put mine down yet..

L2S---- also hope he takes your advise....alot of hassle for him....but I guess "what ever trips his trigger"..
