Indulge me here as I would add my "wish list" for a next generation Darwin....I am more than satisfied with mine but here goes:

1. Capacitive (touch) fire button.
2. Capacitive (touch) up and down buttons to adjust wattage with software update to allow both buttons
being touched at the same time to "lock/unlock" the wattage setting.
3. An offset adaptor than can be attached for tanks.
4. Color options.

Good input. I'm not totally sure about capacitive buttons, I like the click. It would be nice to have it sealed up though, so it might be the way to go. If wishes were fishes, I would like some kind of locking mechanism where the arm can pull away from the body of the Darwin. So you could adjust the clearance of the swing arm and lock it into place depending on what you have installed. That would be cool!

I've been listening to Brad from Box Elder, it has been a great show so far. I find it funny that he kept saying "there is no way 272mg nic went out". Now it is possible that someone just loaded up higher nic to smear their company, but I think that if he was an experienced business manager he would know that you can never say never. I'm a software engineer, and let me tell you, there is nothing that shows human fallibility like software engineering.

I also think as a manager (or CEO as he kept saying) he should have been a little better versed on damage control. He should have been coming on from the start saying "I don't know how this can happen, but we are performing a full audit of our systems to insure this never happens again". Then when the audit is complete, he should publish all process changes to everyone to see. It just doesn't make people feel comfortable about your product if you don't own up to it (or at least the possibility that it occurred).

Hi all, i do not post much ( do not like to type, or leave dumb comments,etc...) i started with a pathetic cig. type e cig - expensive- then a kgo, being i started smoking 40 yrs ago, i need a better pv. Someone suggested a provari so i read about it, went to order it but they did not have a phone#. Some how i ran into the Darwin- went to the site they were in stock & had a phone# so i called to order one & they were not able to get back to me on that Fri. So called Mon. they had just sold the last one. So did all the stuff to get inline for new shipment. Finally when i was able to order i ordered two!!! I had been reading this thread & everything i could find & was sold on the Darwin. I am new on computers & new to vaping, this is much too long, to be continued....

Hi Vape,

There is a Darwin for sale in the Classifieds which doesn't happen too often - you may wanna check it out. Darwins are in demand so they run out of stock from time to time. I've heard that they will be in stock soon. I have a ProVari and love it and am waiting for my Darwin to come in the mail tomorrow. They are both top notch from what I gather and you won't be dissapointed w/ a good VV mod. Good Luck in your Search!

That is the nice thing about Dawinia. Most of us don't make sense so you are in good company :). Enjoy and welcome to the clan!!!!!

Hey ime, that was what i was trying to get to,lol! Monday had to go to town; my first time out with my Darwin, big carto filled & set out- then on the road my Darwin gave out- i was unprepared did not know what was up, had been doing pretty well considering how difficult my short vaping journy had been, plus i live in the middle of nowhere so tremendouse effort to run out to buy cigs when the vaping hit rough patches- then my jeep out of the blue- overheated & pulled over nearest lot which happened to be my old fav cig store.. Ya, bought some cigs. Thank you for this thread, cus i prefer to not have to ask dumb questions all the time but Vapian brought up some help in his comments & i finally figured out it was an adaptor short thing, took it off & my Darwin is going strong!

Do you have a link to the show?

Thanks,

Beat me to it Emonty! I've got to give the guy some props for going on the show, and hopefully he will be able to determine what happened. I found it interesting in the end when they did their panel discussion. Coz said it made him feel a level of comfort in the fact that this was caught by the community, but the flip side to that is that it may happen often and this one was finally caught. I feel that the greatest risk is to the people mixing, not the vapers. We are all good at self-medicating and know when we've had too much nicotine, so even if someone got 272mg nic it probably wouldn't cause anyone serious problems once it was mixed down. It seems like the biggest risk was to people handling the nicotine base.

Or as Ski always says, a Darwin, and heir and a spare (and a heir to the spare).

ok just watched the vapetv webcast, i got a new drinking game, everytime the guy says "CEO" drink, lets see who can make it through the whole show, lol

LOL ime, most did play that game last nite! I continued the game long after the show was over...

If I have not said so, welcome new D'winians! Vapian, Landlord (LL), Huffle (HP) and Vapeterry (VT), and anyone else I've missed!

Thank you KD for the warm welcome! i am typing overtime today-watched the vid. i hesitate to add my trials with nic levels; what i have going for me now is my Darwin & hi WTA low to no added nic juice. Look forward to DIY, thanks Ski. What i am having difficulties with is what to use with the Darwin & juice. i am interested to know what the small tank on the man in the vid had on his pv. Thanks
