I can't tell you just yet, it only shipped today ;-) I get the impression that it's not as high-maintenance as some people seem to think, though there will definitely be more than with any of my other mods. Heck, as far as maintenance requirements go, I think the Darwin is about as low-maintenance as you can get. Cuse would be one to ask that question of, I know he has one (or maybe two) in his arsenal
Personally, I don't have much of a problem switching between variable and fixed voltage, I just have to be more aware of the resistance of my cartos and attys in order to have a satisfying vape. I do primarily stick with variable, though. Ultimately when it comes to mods, for me I weigh them as a total package and not just any particular feature. Every device is a completely different experience IMHO
