Around two weeks ago I received my DNA20D Bogger Box [Bottom Feeding]
This thread is not just about the DNA20D Bogger Box but also a review about the performance of the DNA20D Chip.

There is confusion about the DNA20D Chip because more than one revision exist, I believe that the PBusardo Review was with an earlier revision because my APV is reacting to Sub Ohm differently than his. Other factors could contribute too

The first Video below is initial impressions of the DNA20D Bogger Box and how the DNA20D chip compares to other VV chips in general.

I am not a professional reviewer, my equipment has been calibrated but is not necessarily the highest quality equipment, please take my review with a grain of salt that this is my experience and your experience may differ. A sampling of one is not enough to be absolutely certain about any product. Keep your ears open for other opinions and tests.
This Video is about my experience.

I'd like to clarify some issues.

1st the problem I had with the flow of juice is because I use 100% VG and don't thin it very much. My liquid is far thicker than average liquid. I don't believe that there was a problem with my box except that it didn't flow as well as my previous unit. If you are using any Store Bought juice you would not encounter my problem.

2nd When I took a vape you saw miserable results. This is because I was experimenting with 7 wraps of 24 Gauge Kanthal and right before the video I turned them unsuccessfully into micro coils, with a very poor result. I'm not downing Micro Coils, it's just that I'm still practicing and learning how to do them.

3rd Forget Quadruple Thumbs up. Guess I was overly enthusiastic. I'll clarify 3 thumbs up for the DNA20D and 2 Thumbs for the DNA20D Bogger Box

4th The Video is 20 minutes long. I'll try to shorten my Videos in the future.

5th I forgot to mention that The DNA20D has a 1 year Warranty. It is the only Variable Volt beside Provape with a 1 year Warranty [that I know of]. The Reo Grande VV has a 6 month warranty on the electronics when you read the fine print.

Below is a picture of the Mods that I own. Double click on the image to see in full size as the reduced size seems to have changed the proportions.

I hope this Photo will give perspective about the length of the DNA20D .

The DNA20D is appears taller than the Provari when we take the Drip Well into Account, but since we are screwing the atomizer deep inside the drip cup this is misleading. The 510 Atomizer connector is positioned below the Provari. Also I use a low profile Reomizer and most Provari Users are using some type of Tank or long Clearomizer. The final height with Atomizer should be or shorter on the DNA20D as the Provari. I've zeroed in on the Provari because it is the Premier APV that most others are compared to.

From Left to right we have

*I believe that the Vamo is around the size of the Sigelei Zmax [Correct Me if I'm Wrong]

Oh my gosh it happened. I dropped my DNA20D Natural Stabilized box off my desk 4 feet on to metal. I have a treadmill under my desk with a metal base and of course Murphys Law is that it fell right on to the Metal Base.

Man I was cursing and sweating, but guess what not a sign of damage.

I think the Stabilized Wood is stronger than regular wood. Because for sure it took a solid hit.

*Disclaimer please don't try dropping your Stabilized Box on Wood or Concrete to test whether it will hold up. Maybe I was just lucky!

I just got my dna and standard yesterday. Im deployed so i receive my mail at work. I opened and drooled at my boxes. And had to put them away and yern for them all day. At shift change, i took my package out of my locker. My dna jumped out onto the concrete floor. It slid about 3 inches. Everyone in the room crowded full of 20 people looked at me. All except for the ones inadvertently treading towards it in their grease stained military boots. I took a immediate dip. It was fine. Not a ding or anything. Just dust. I cleaned it off while 5 people complimented the workmanship of this item they knew nothing about. Im a lucky man

Thedan, I'm curious as heck do you see a difference between the bogger box standard and the Reo Grand in terms of resistance.
IE Is the Reo or the Bogger standard firing hotter.? PM me if you'd like to keep your reply confidential.

My bottom fed family. Boggers for home/ weekend use. And the reos for all day banged around work horses. My boggers are too pretty for the pocket/desert aircraft maintenance. I wouldn't thow a piece of well functioning art in your sweat soaked pocket and lay on it mooshing your body against metal structures all day.

Answers about DNA20D and stepping down voltage along with top voltage limitations of the Provari and DNA20D Bogger Box in 4 videos comparing to a Provari.
Video 1
Provari at 7 Watts or 3.6V
Two corrections to video
Provari at 7 Watts not 7 Volts
Provari range was 3.55 to 3.58v

I will definatly post info once i take/have the time to test. I just set each of my boxes up with their own microcoiled rm2 today. I vaped each of them, but all had different coils so i cannot compare as of yet. I am interested to find out. However, i have a personal preference for the reo because i can work with it and carry / pocket it everywhere. (Although i do stuff it in a cheap holster for added protection). I cannot with the bogger.
When i have time ill pull the multimeter out and let you know my findings and ill be honest and as unbiased as possible with the testing.
I usually wrap 1-1.7 ohm microcoils and use cotton for wicking. Ill use the same rm2 for my tests.
On a different . Today i bought ANOTHER mod. Its gotta be a bottom feeder so my choice was a reo grand or a standard bogger. (Not into 18350s or 16340's, so 3.7 is my style). I bought a THIRD reo grand. I kicked myself over getting my second just the other week. But i love the slim feel and durable-pocketable feel of the reo. Its been love at first vape.
