the duke wood mod project

Hi i built my self a DNA20 mod that work really well and i guess i had to much fun because now i would like to build a "clone" of the duke but in wood instead.

Do anyone have a partslist of what i need to buy ? =)

You can get most of the stuff from digikey, except the 510 connector.

Part numbers would have made you my hero. =) but thanks. Isn't there a suggested amp to have with a switch ie 3amp-10amp switch??

Yeah, at least a 3amp switch would be fine. But I've read that is it is any lower than 3amps then you can use pin1 on the OKR-T10 chip to use a lower rated switch as Mamu stated in a thread on breakthru.

A reason for using pin1 is to be able to use a non rated fire switch (pin1 is inline with an internal MOSFET which takes the load off the switch). If you're using a 3A switch then pin1 is not needed. If you're wanting to use a tactile switch, then you will need to use pin1.

The 1590B works good for a DNA mod and the 1590G is best for the Duke. You can fit a DNA mod with 2 18650 in a 1590G, but you have to modify the enclosure a bit. It is a really tight fit, but it is possible. I am in the process of doing so.

bumping this thread. I recently got to experience a duke, and now I want one. I think I might like it more if I built it myself.
is there a one stop shop to get all/most of the parts needed?

You have to shave off one of the screw hole posts in order to get it all to fit. I also modified the battery sled to fit as well.

6mm or 1/4 is the size for the magnets and about 2mm thick you will also need some set screws in the holes for the magnets to grab to they won't attract to the aluminum box
