Surprised at how quickly the knockoff twists hit the market. Lulu, you'll have to keep us posted in the next few months as to how they stack up to each other. Any idea who actually makes the one you have?

Made by this company

Thats not an auto is it? I don't see a button. I thought autos were very dificult to make vv. Tell us how it works out for you. Looks like the new twist is allready out of style. By the way, has anyone any idea how many models of Ego there are? just curiouse is a fun way.

No it isn't an auto but I wish it was. I know there are at least four different companies making VV egos. Joye, Hello, SLB and Vision.

So I have discovered that I really don't need variable voltage. I definitely don't care for LR and my replacement heads on the T2s.are 2.4 to2.6 which I run @ 3.7 so why go through all the hoo¬ha about vv and replaceable heads.all of which gives me a wonderful sense of freedom. I've decided to stop looking for"the next big thing" and give the cc a rest.

As far as the Hello Smokes Twist vs. the Joye Twist I don't detect any performance difference.

I've been looking for an adapter for my Twist to use the Echo Clearomizers and with all the different names for all the different knockoffs I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on any of them. Can someone point me to the correct adapter? :)

I ordered one of these VV egos to try. It has LCD display and up and down buttons plus charge indicator. 22.00 with code Fall10.
Apollo eGo-VV Battery

It's a nice little APV, comfortable to use like the twist but a little more convenient for volt settings. The puff counter's a joke and I got mine before the pass-through became available but still one of my primary go to units.

Yeah I agree puff counters are a joke but I don't think this one has one.

True Lulu. VV is not needed if you know your sweet spot. It's only good if you like to experiment because 510 stuff is all over the board so it's nice to have one battery that can handle everything. It's also good because the last heads I got for the t2 came in from 1.8ohms to 2.8 ohms all in one box that was supposed to be 2.2 ohms. But lesson learned. I bought cheap and got cheap.

Well it's just like out trusted echo vendors. I ordered a kit from tropical vapors so we'll see if the vfast echo is as good as the hs echo. And for the t2, I haven't gotten a bad one from Discount Vapors. I'm suspicious that there are already other t2s on the market that aren't Kanger.

Tropical vapors gets a plus in my book already because I got an email after I ordered the 900mah telling me he was putting the 1300 on sale soon and asking if I wanted to swap so I didn't kick myself when I saw I could have had the larger battery if I had waited a couple days.

So, being a DIYer now, I don't really order premade juice anymore but I see that Mtn Vapor is offering a free bottle of their new caffeinated juice upon request with an order. Anyone had it yet?

Don't think I'll be ordering caffeinated juice as I drink decaffeinated coffee and tea and have to take Rx to handle HPB. heart disease and the many other things that 53 years of analogs will leave you with. I only have 2 Kanger T2s and a few coil heads with no plans to jump in the Twist "pool"like I did with the ECHO. What interests me right now are the Vision Spinner and possibly a Kgo vv if they come out with a little larger unit in the future.

Sure you don't want to try one of these before you totally give up on VV units. Aopllo has them for a little under $25 delivered using their 10% discount code. :)

The Super eGo: Variable Voltage (and a display!)

I got one from Apollo but I don't like the fire button on it. It is almost flush and you have to look at it to find it. I do like the display and up and down buttons. This one from stevevape looks like it might have a better fire button.

I was not clear in my post (my bad).............I have 2 Twists (one 900 (knockoff) one 1000)). I was just saying I don't want to fall into the trap again that I'm going to be happy forever with any particular ecig and over-invest in it.

Understood perfectly what you have been saying, particularly about VV units, just trying to pull your leg. :)
