Be aware of the CE4's from Vapor Girl as well, if you use them. They only have two slots for air flow at the base, so the draw is super tight.
Also, don't try to use a different connection post with the tube. I just tried using my post from NHaler that I had saved when the tube etched, and it's leaking like a sieve right at the base.

If I continue to use CE4/CE5 clearos, I think I'll just stick with NHaler's because those have the same draw as an Echomizer.

I'm sure all of this has been gone over before, but I'm still working my way through the original thread.

Thanks for the info on the Vapor Girl CE4's. I always use Echomizers. I know the clearos are popular, but I am one of those that "If it works don't fix it.". Some day I'm sure that I will be useing something else like that, but then again I only have like 10 cd's, all the rest of my music is on vinyl. ha ha

Kind of sounds like the Vapor Girl needs to start figuring out her venders a bit better. I'm sure its frustrating, as a lot of stuff vaper wise seems to be coming over kind of shady lately.

I do have to reiterate that these 350's are a lot lighter, and MUCH more fun to hang off my maw, but like a 350mah, they do go down fast. maybe 3 to 3.5 hours constant cigar style vape time, or abourt 1.5ml juice.

Time will tell if they are worth it.

My old Echos are finaly not holding charge as long, so it's time to retire them. Not gonna take a chance on them.

Does anyone have any info on the stealth Echos from North West Vapors. They are kind of pricey, but when my epilepsy acts up, I can turn the stealth upside down and have no blinky lights, where the lighted tip Echos blink cant be easily disguised. North West Vapors seems to be the only place besides Vapor Girl that has the stealths. As I progress down punch drunk lane, my epilepsy is slowly catching up with me.

Maybe I'll try a revolver. I hate the idea of such a big Echo to deal with though.

If anyone is still trying to get any adapters working, the ones from MadVapes are all etched on the post.

I took my 808-901 adapter from Good Prophets and checked it out again. There is no etching on the post on this one, only 2 grooves sliced through the threads for air flow. I popped the post out and reversed it, and it still wouldn't work as either a battery extension or a 901 adapter.

Next I pulled the post out of my 801-808 adapter from MadVapes. As I said, the post is slotted properly, however the silicone gasket is designed differently. On the Good Prophets model it's a small ring around the tube of the post, but on the MadVapes model it's a large O-ring on the adapter between the post and the threads.

I took the gasket from GP and shoved it onto the post from my MV adapter and worked it back into the threaded portion of the GP adapter. It works! Now I can have either a super shorty 808 battery extension or a 901 adapter! Huzzah! :D

The 808-901 adapters from MadVapes should work out of the box as a short 808 extension for standard sized cartomizers and ect. Reverse the post and you should be able to fire up your 901 atty's with no issues. If anyone tries, please let me know. If not, my Franken-adapter is firing strong but it only cost about $10.00 after shipping.

Definitely interested in a 650 Revolver. I have the 1300 iGo model, and while it isn't huge I need something a little smaller to carry around all day.

I don't know about Northwest Vapors. They're still completely out of stock of any Echo batteries and have been for months. You may be better off just buying some more from Vapor Girl.

Maybe we should ask NHaler to start carrying the smaller models. ;)

I don't know why I keep messing around with the Turbos. I try them and hate them, then try them again a month later. Still, I've got 2 complete bodies and 4 additional atomizer heads, so I'm set on back ups.

I'm down to 2 standard cartomizers and 1 DC and they're all getting stiff on me. I'm definitely going to try dismantling and rebuilding them when my shipment comes in next week. Does it help to dismantle and clean a brand new one before first use at all? It seems to take at least a day to hit that sweet spot of flavor and vapor and I'd like to speed that up a bit.

On order this week is 6 Echomizers, a 5-pack of Tidy 10's, a plastic drip tip and 30 ml of Kamel Menthol from Sterling E-Cigs. A little pricier than most places, but they've already confirmed shipping and I ordered it last night. These guys may be worth it.

Hey Johnnie, no need to do anything to new Echomizers. Just enjoy.

Sterling Vapers always was expensive. NHaler is also for that matter. Your right about North West Vapers not having stock, and I wonder if the Chinese new year has anything to do with it. Like LuLu pointed out the other day, shipping and well everything in China will be all but at a complete halt for quite a while. I can't remember how long the shut down affects us, but if memory serves, it is about a month. Anyone remember?

I messed with the post on the 350mini, and no luck what so ever. Same as before. Oh well, like I said, they all but shipped me 2 kits by throwing in the chargers. Don't think I'll order stealth from her, as they only have 1300mah other than the minis. Was a good idea though johnnie.

Vape Sales has stealth batteries in stock, but only in 1100 mAh. Expensive too.

Sorry, they only sell single 1100 mAh batteries. They sell the entire range in stealth batteries in kits for a decent price. Never heard of them before doing a Google search, but there it is.

I wonder if the Chinese new year has anything to do with it. johnnie.

The vendors who have product in the pipeline will put it out fairly soon if they haven't done so already. If memory serves they will be able to reorder around the middle of Feb and should be replenished by late Feb or early March. It's a bummer but it's also a learning experience for us customers.

Thanks johnnie. They have a 10% off cupon for 1st time buyers too.
Didn't know about that, thanks. I may have to buy my next kit from them.

I actually found a few "unknown" vendors selling the Echo or accessories. Some we're direct from China, but on top of Vape Sales these definitely look like stealth Echos, but the price is outrageous and there are no specs. Probably a 650 mAh battery and I wouldn't be surprised if they ordered them with D-2 threads just to screw people over. But if you become desperate for a stealth auto, there they are. Be aware, they use soft porn on their homepage to promote their products. ;)

There is also Tropical Vapors, but they only sell 900 and 1300 mAh non-stealth batteries. Prices are pretty good there too, at $15.00 for a 900 and $17.00 for a 1300. They also sell Dekang and Halo liquid.

Still looking for other vendors. I'll probably continue to buy mostly from Mountain Vapor, Smok Tek, and Sterling Vapors but it doesn't hurt to know who else we can turn to when someone is out of stock.

that doesn't surprise me one bit marauder, I rebuild everything with cotton and bamboo! though I've never done it, even half way, with an echomizer :)

where are you getting cartos from these days? I remember there were some quality control issues with with some vendors back when I was trying the echomizers.

Hi Cyrus, haven't seen you around for awhile.

Curious what is being call an "echomizer" these days? I have about 30 of what I call the original Echo DC Cartos, that was before they were called echomizer. Are they now the clearo style rather than the Chrome Finish units?

Hey Errol!

Not sure, but when I said echomizer I was referring to the older style single or dual coil cartos for the Echo ;)

Appears we are talking about the same Echo cartos. I got a pretty good prices buying in bulk when I figured that was all I'd ever vape. :) I now have so many I'll never use, I'll probably try my luck at the classifieds to see if I can sell them.

Even tried the X2 auto and the SI CE3s. LOL. What a POS CE3s are, my persistence in trying to get them to make me happy cracks me up sometimes.

Strange how our vaping choices change over the months and years with all the new toys available. Had to chuckle at your comment about the CE3s as that pretty well expressed my feeling for a time but now the CE3 has become one of two of my favorites. I gave up on all the modding to get it to feed the way I want consistently. I now fill them straight out of the box, squeeze the tube and by watching the bubble I can feed the juice to the point just short of flooding and find that is my best vape at 4.5 to 5v. They are also cost effective as they are easy to clean and last a long time.

My other favorite for the time being is the Kanger T3 but it's much more difficult to get the perfect juice flow and given the tube is solid I can't utilize my favorite method of feeding the beast. :)

hehe. Seems I haven't been around for so long everyone came around to answering their own questions. The only one I remember through five pages is Cyrus' about the dual coil and it's mainly the ease of rebuild that keeps me from them. I can rebuild a single coil right to my sweet spot and not need the extra power needed to fire a dual, can vape it all day with need to worry about topping off and there's less to troubleshoot. If I vape too fast and hot for the cotton wick, I can wiggle off the base and re wet the wick in a second.

I was using the t0s with the 510 auto from Discount vapors. It was awesome for two-three weeks and then the battery started to lose power quick. It would still get me through daylight or an evening out but eventually I had to wrap my hand entirely around the carb holes on the t0 to get a good hit. If I have to hold it like that, it loses the point of using an auto.

Until they finally come out with a solid clearo that holds a decent amount of juice with echo threads, I'm married to these echomizers.
I think I saw an 808 to 808 ego adapter at madvapes. May be worth the mod but last I looked, SI is still having issues getting the manufacturer to make their 808 t0s right. I tried the t0 on an 808 to ego adapter on one of my beloved old school open post echo batteries and it worked....but not well.

I have a problem:( Bought a stealth echo and dual coil echo carts, when they first came out(almost a year ago?). I've been using other equipment and never got around to using this set up. Long time Echo user and never had a problem with single coils, so I assumed everything would be ok, when I finally got around to using the new ones. Well...new dual won't fire on any of my Echos:( Cart is working fine, cause I put it on 2 other devices (V4L KD and GLV2 5V) and worked perfectly. Anybody have a quick answer for this?
Update: The 3 echos (all auto 1300mah)I own have been in storage for about a year. I know batts lose charge over time, but if I pick up 3 year old kr808 stick batt that hasn't been used, it still fires a carto. None of my echos will fire anything but light up at the end, as if they are working. Just put one on charge and will wait to see if that is the problem. Again, any helpful hints or suggestions are always appreciated.

Nice to see you again Charlz. :)

Finally got around to cleaning my leaking Franken-clearo. Though Vapor Girl and NHaler sell what looks like the same CE4, they are quite different. The one from Victoria has deeper threads on the post where the body attaches, with 2 o-rings on it. Also her wicks are more sturdily made. The ones Drew offers have not stood up well to cleaning for me.

I'm honestly torn here. The CE4's from Drew definitely have an easier draw and multiple ohm wicks, but Victoria's stand up to more abuse. I just took the second o-ring from Victoria's post and put it on Drew's, assembled and filled it with water. I'll let it sit on the sink for a few days to see if that stops the leaking issue. I only use the CE4's for my higher percentage nic for when I'm drinking or otherwise need a little extra kick, so it isn't a huge deal for me.

On another note, has anyone ordered from Tropical Vapors before? They have the best prices on Echo kits, but they do admit they are not true Hangsen. I'm thinking of ordering a second kit from them next paycheck, but want to make sure there's not going to be any unexpected issues with them.

I bought a Tropical Vapors V-Fast kit this past August. I had an original Echo battery (650ma) from Mountain Vapors for a year before this. Tropical was claiming that V-Fast manufactures for other brands. I can tell you that this is an Echo Kit, and the 900ma is a
lot more power for an amazingly small increase in size and weight from a 650. Great quality and the Echomizers seem identical to me
and they sell them separately for only $2.49. I use the standard Deluxe 808 cartos from there also and they are as good as or better than the Volts.
