No, I only have the standard round ones. Though I may grab some whistle tips for them since my CE4's are essentially rda's at this point.

An Echo cartomizer cone is the same size as my CE4 cone. I wonder if you could disassemble a standard CE4 and put the carto shell on it without leakage. I'd like the look.

I played with that idea. For some reason, I never followed through. The base of the echomizer won't fit and I never sat down to work it out.

I did use the shell for a ce2. It rocked. All the goodness of a ce2 but with a 2ml+ capacity. Then they changed the way ce2s were made and I abandoned them.

They used to be good then they came out with all these "improvements" that made them a little worse each time. Finally the 808 ce2 ultimates that just sucked. The ce2 was simple and just needed a tweek to make it near perfect. They "improved" it off the map and then you came along and they were barely being whispered about anymore.

Rebuilding them was a pain that involved soldering so when they no longer came out decent from the factory, I stopped using them.

BUT, it was one of the first decent clearos. Fiddling with them and finding out all the flaws are what led to all the new generations of clearos that aren't half bad.

That's a shame. I'd give my left you know what for a decent clearo for the Echo.

the CE4 is good, but it doesn't work too well for long periods with the Kuwako. I miss using my Kuwako. :(

How's the T3 on that auto eGo? I'd like to grab a T3 for my X2, but since S.I. doesn't offer LR heads I'm thinking it'd be a worthless purchase.

It's my go to setup. Well, it would be if it wasn't prone to drips and cracking if dropped. I've had a mt3 which has a hard metal shell over the t3 with window slots that has held up well. I can't speak for menthol in it, but haven't heard gripes concerning harsh liquids.

The battery itself rocks. Perfect for a kuwako around the house. But even if I do leave with my auto/t3 setup, I always have my echo just in case.

I like the evod too and really would like to get the kanger pro tank. Like the concept of a glass tank but my bitting ways just can't handle a metal tip. I need to email Dennis at Mtn Vapor to get the kanger stuff to sell along side the auto ego. I may order another soon.

Hey everyone.

Been a while. had a lot of epileptic isues lately.

Thought I'd update you guys on a few products.

1) Cherry Vapes "Ray Gun" drip tip for 808's is realy nice. I like the extreem divit to bite on and hold in my teeth. Best tip I'v tride so far, and they take horendouse abuse. I have three right now, and hope to get more, but at $8.00 they are pricy.

2) Vapor Girls "Military" mini Echo batteries long term review.
positives- They are lighter than the 650mah Echos. I can keep them in my mouth all day, and puff away without geting a sore jaw.
- Stealth style LED light. Just a pin hole blue light on the side of the tip. This is important to me as the flashing tips on
regular Echos can upset my epilepsy. I just turn these so the LED is on the bottom.
- Pocket friendly. I have a leather holster for my echos, but the 350's are small enough that they fit in my pockets
with out fear of breaking.
- Fast charge. These do charge quickly, and may be a good idea to have at least one around just incase you don't have
time to fully charge an Echo.
- No LED pin hole probles. Sealth Echos will not fire if you get lint or anything in the pinhole. I have not had any isues
with these.
- Vapor Girl always sends extra cartos with your order. last order I got 5. Don't ever know how many, but a nice freeby

Negatives- - I have 9 batteries and 3 have bit the the dust. Not as eternal as regular Echos, but the quality of the unit is as nice.
- Quick battery drain. Obviuosly with only 350mah the arent your fathers echos. These will probably anoy you if you like
to carey only one battery all day.
- Easy to loose. These batteries will fall right out of your fingers, and LOVE to roll under the nearest piece of furnature.

Echo-e cartomizers I got from healthcabin are frustrating me. The flavour is muted, they taste burnt 1 out of 4 drags and consistently have a peculiar taste (this is difficult to describe, rubbery comes to mind).

Already did the straw tip (push the filler down) with no success.

The battery is great though. With standard cartos they perform for a long time.

edit:polyfill came out pristine white.
When trying to disassemble it I couldn't avoid to break it. It was too tight.
The coil seems at the bottom end, too close it seems. Pics:

I guess I'm late for the party but I'm a newbie! I just received my iGo Echo kr808D1 900 from Tropical Vapors with 900 mAh batts. So far I like it and have no problems at all, knock on wood. I do have a question though, I have seen different cartomizers for sale for 808's and I was wondering if you can only use a specific amount of ohm cart?
I saw mentioned in a post that on the Mountain Vapor carried the carts. They have dual coil and 2.2-2.4 and 1.7 ohms. Single coil ohms were not mentioned. Just hate to buy something and see it go up in smoke in the first 5 seconds of use. I guess I need to understand the relationship of the ohms to battery to vapor production. I would suspect the higher ohms = more but hotter vapor?

Guess I did post this in the wrong forum since I have a Igo not Ego 808!!! Dang Newbies!

coil is where it should be. It's a better design with the coil at the bottom. Less topping off. But they can be a pain for the first fill. You need to flood the carto so it drips then let them sit for a bit, then clean them up. After that first fill, it's an easy top off whenever you want. A syringe is the best way to fill these. You may also have compacted your filler by pushing it down too tight. This will keep liquid from getting to the wick. Trial and error.....and sometimes some bum cartos.

Haha! You mangled that thing.

Hey Echo regulars! Question on this smileomizer; has anyone tried it on an Echo batt?
Smileomizer | Vapor4Life

I asked them whether it'd work and got this reply:
"From the looks of it, it is similar to our EGO batteries. If the voltage on them is at least 3.7v the smileomizer will work."

This didn't help me at all. I am embarrassed to say that after a year-plus of Echo vaping, I have no clue what the voltage is.
So, will it work? I'll be happy to give it a try if no one else has tried it yet. Just wanna make sure I'm not wasting money on something that won't work.
Thanks, all!

Ordered three duals from Mountain Vapors. Should have them tomorrow, they are only 1/2 hour away.

Well the dual coils get quite hot real quick. Can only vape very very slowly or else it burns the juice some. I'm using CC Blueberry but I think any of them would get hot. When vaping slowly, like sucking a very very cold drink through a straw, the dual Echomizer works well
and the juice tastes fine.

Charlz has often said the Echomizers work best when treated like a pipe or cigar and I agree. Try taking 2 or 3 short puffs on it and then a long, slow one. I used to love that. :)
