I have four echo batteries and I've never had a problem with any of them in three months. I always remove the carto when refilling and I've never got any juice in mine. The carto doesn't leak if you let it set a couple of minutes after filling to let any overflow drain out.:2cool:

I have had the same pleasant experience with my Echo's! I feel this PV is the best performing, most hassle free unit around. Quick question, what advantages does a dual-coil cartomizer provide over a single coil unit?

The dual coils give a stronger hit and seem to have a little more flavor. There doesn't seem to be a huge difference being as the regular cartos work very good for me as is. The echo-e duals with a 4.2 v battery seem to give the strogest hit though.

Thanks for the quick response TX. Wondering about voltages and how the dual-coils will affect auto battery per charge puffs and overall auto battery life. I'm pretty sure the dual-coil echomizers will draw more power to operate, but how much is my question.

Just got myself a manual battery setup Friday in the mail. Yep, an Ego 650mah with a mega dc cartomizer. First impressions:

- Battery life is okay, but I'm finding myself attached to le chargero or ze panzerthrough more often than I'm used to/expect
- draw is noticeably stiffer than the echo, requiring more time puffing to get that same amount of vapor in me
- once that puff is taken, the hit is noticeably stronger, but not in a mind-blowing way. If I took that long a drag on my echo the hit is mighty strong too, just sayin'
- the rubber mouth piece is not a good match for my style. I like plastic whistle tips. The opening on this carto is huge (the carto doesn't taper, it's a straight tube) so i doubt finding one to fit is an option
- I'm almost accustomed to the battery button (always had autos before). Not saying I like it though. Hands free is how I roll.
- Does hold almost twice the liquid I could fit in an echo carto. In fact I'm just now thinking of refilling it.

So, add that to the experience base I suppose.

Check out Nhaler and Smoketek. They both carry quite a few tips for the Ego. They may very well have some.

Hi, I just got my 1st Echo 1300mAh PV 4 days and I'm very happy with the product but sad to say that all of a sudden my PV is still producing lots of vape and flavor but there is no TH. Is there anyone out there ever experience anything like that before? Hope some senior out there with good knowledge is able to help me an advise what I could do bout my cart. Thanks.

It most likely is the juice. You might need higher pg ratio.

Everybody needs to read this...

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ego-type-models/217880-exploding-ego-t-battery.html

Somewhere I read about a special fireproof bag for charging batteries. Can anybody provide some info?

There have been several posts with this happening. I know everytime I read one I'm careful for a couple of days then I'm back to my old habits of leaving them on the charger until I need one. It has been all types of pv batteries too. I've seen posts of a couple of egos, 18650 and an echo so no one battery seems to be the culprit.
