Eric at DV has these on sale for Black Friday for 30% off so it make them around 12.00. I liked the first one so good I picked up a couple of more. They work real good with my Kuwako and T3. BLACK FRIDAY SALE

Tex, thanks again for the heads up. I've only been using the auto for about a half hour, but so far it performs really well. I'm surprised how well it vapes with a 2.4ohm T3. I really thought it might be weak, being regulated. So finally, a 510/eGo auto that works well, and a good price to boot!

It's a "clearomizer" actualy. Doesn't perform bad at all.
Got it from the UK, but I think in the US you can get it from IKENVAPE.

Actually, I just went to the IKENVAPE website, an it oesn't look like you can get ANYTHING from them right now--almost EVERYTHING I looked at was "out of stock"...

So I like the price of the Kuwako, but I'm wondering what it really is. It is just basically a plastic (rubberized) pipe bowl that slides onto the end of an eGo battery to make it look and handle like a pipe? I'm assuming it has no electronics or lights or anything, right?

And I'm wondering where people are finding auto eGo-style batteries. I've NEVER seen one in a store, and I can't think of any of the main online USA vendors that carry them either. Links would be helpful...

I'm wondering if making my own Kuwako-style bowls from wood might be something that would work?

Correct. The Kuwako is simply a "bowl" that slides over an eGo battery. It has no parts at all. Nothing to fail. No effect on vapor. It's simply an accessory that feels and looks like a pipe. I like the Kuwako in public because it doesn't attract attention like some e-cigs do.

The best deal for eGo auto batteries is at Discount Vapers. Available in silver & black...

As for creating your own, go for it. Sounds like a nice hobby for a woodworker. You could use the Kuwako as a template. Make 'em real pretty and I'll bet you could sell a few.

My first auto ego battery I got from DV failed and Eric is sending me a replacement. He said they have been kind of hit and miss so he was thinking about pulling them. My other two are still working good and I'm hoping the bad one was just a fluke because I really like how they vape. I don't think I got any juice in it to make it fail because I only used T3's with it and I haven't had any leak yet.:tumble:

Discount Vapors has them. SAX Clearomizer Blue LED - 2.4ohms I'm not totally impressed with them. But I like the look they give to the kuwako so I will continue to use it on days where I just absolutely need the aesthetics it gives to the whole kuwako look. And his prices takes the sting out of the fact that it is disposable when most with replaceable coils are about the same price. I also wish they would make some that don't light up. But whatever.

I managed to flood my auto battery from DV. But I just got this in today. Auto Ego Battery. If you know me, my favorite auto battery has always been the echo. Only reason I was ever looking to the 510 is because there have been no updates to hardware for the echo since the ce4+ and I wasn't a huge fan of those.

I'm happy to report this battery is what we have all been waiting for. It's amazing. My only complaint is that it somehow took him a week to get it to me and I am used to him getting things to me quicker but that has no bearing on the battery. Draw is fantastic and with a t3 attached I managed to get to about 7-8 secs before I just couldn't handle any more. It's just as responsive as the echo and has the same tiny pinhole in the center posts that the echos used to have before they went with the sealed center posts. It would be very hard to flood. Not that I have a problem with flooding batteries, I just tried my hand at replacing a t3 with kanthal and cotton and got careless. I'm glad I did too cause I went searching for a new battery.

Thanks for the heads up on the auto egos Charlz. DV isn't listing them anymore and these are 900 mah too which will be better so I ordered one although I still have two from DV working good. I've got to have backups for the backups and then some. Must come from the paranoia when I smoked and was always afraid of running out of cigarettes, lol

Hey, Tex lives! Hi! :D

I've been wondering about those clearos, and the carto-pipe. Is it possible to modify those pipe mouth-pieces to fit an Echo carto? I've been eyeing a Kuwako, but I want a better mouth-piece first.

And I'm not really wanting to switch to 510. I'm perfectly happy with the Echo and carto, and I'm not a PV collector.

I'm not sure but I doubt it. Charlz would know and will probably comment on it. I don't have one yet. I've pretty much switched over to the auto ego so I can use the T3's with them. I'm away from home for a couple of months getting treatment for throat cancer but when I get back home I have quite a few echo cartos I would like to send to someone that is still using them. I really like the echo but I've pretty much moved on to VW mods with Vision Vivi Nova's and auto egos with the Kanger T3. I've been in the VA hospital for a few weeks since Christmas and was able to Vape all the time I was there which made it much more bearable. I'm staying in a hotel now and just going in for Chemo and radiation treatments daily.:) That is why I haven't been on much lately but feeling pretty good right now but as the radiation continues I probably won't be on much but hopefully I will still come on and read the posts even if I don't feel up to posting. I hope to be back home by the end of March.:)

And btw, Johnnie those clearos only have the cone thread connections, and don't have the 510 connection for the post so they can be used on the x2 if you still have one. Just so it's not a total loss for you if you decide to get one.

I'd also be willing to part with a chrome 650 echo that doesn't have the protected center post so it's fully compatible with adapters and 901 attys and such. It's still got a good year or so left to it. Probably more. I barely use it. Pm me your address if you are interested.

I havent looked a this Kuwako thread for a while. Nice to see all the Echo guys still here. I have, as some of you know, orderd the miny Echo's from Vaporgirl, and they make the Kuwako almost a stealth pipe. So tiny. I grew to realy like the minies, and just orderd some more.

Sir Tumbleweed, my heart, and hopes, and prayers go out to you.

To everyone helping Johnnie Price with Echo stuff, I would like to say, You couldn't be helping a better friend. I don't know how much contact you have had with him, but he truely is a stand up guy, and a true Echoman. Makes me feel great to know that the Echo folks are the "Best of the Best". Wow. I've been staring at these posts all night and don't know what to say.

The mouthpiece is just a plastic horn. It's wider than an echomizer at the top so it looks weird but you could play around and see if some sort of rubber insert could make it secure. I'd stick with a hard plastic whistle tip that's been boiled and bent.
Yeah, I have a couple bent and they work okay. I'm just worried they may be too short for a pipe.

I will check back with you when I'm home but there won't be any charge. I just want someone to get some use out of them.
Wow. Thank you sir. I'll be more than happy to take them, once you're free and clear. And I do hope you feel better soon. You and Charlz are the reason I decided to buy the Echo in the first place, and I may still be smoking now without it.

That's good to know about the clearo. It'd be nice if someone had a cartomizer in the same style. I'm not the biggest fan of clearos. Still, I may try one.

And I'll happily take that Echo battery. Thank you so much.

Wow. Thank you Los. You've been a good friend to me as well. And I'm happy to hear those Mini's are working well for you.
