qorax - Thanks for the extensive presentation. Can the AFC (air flow control?) be accessed only by removing the atty from the battery device? As you say, 'set it and forget it,' though may take some fiddling.

Yes, the AFC design is such - accessible only by detaching the atty. Btw, we can always take dry pulls (while rebuilding) and know what's / where's our sweet spot. And once done - live it set for life.
I'm keeping it in it's (nearly) full open position. Am considering removing it (the AFC Disc) altogether √
If I read everything correctly, it can be filled with any small tipped bottle.

I was noticing; Germany, Greece and Italy seem to be home of most of the innovation. Oh wait no FDA over there duh.

I don't think a 22mm / 23mm Glass tank is possible Sedge ~ else the modder would have doe it already. Remember there's an internal indentation in those larger tanks, so that the base could seat-in making the atty completely uniform OD externally? That fine shaving of the glass might just not be possible without weakening it.
