Dspin, you are the man! Thanks for the offer. My Ody is set up with the stock wick right now and vaping like a beast. I honestly don't have any idea why I have an interest in playing around with it lol. It's already 100x better than any atty I've used. Just reading how it seems people like the longevity of the SS and got curious :-$

I just tried the Mrkrinkle's method and I have to say all the actual genesis atty, the ody was the easiest to setup. No shorts at all on my first try. What I did was the no quench method, then e-liquid burn and the rolling paper trick. I was so excited and started vaping right away. I will say right off the bat, more vapor and flavor is on par, to be fair it has not broken in, so it will get better.

I used silver, kanthal and 400 mesh.

I recommend!!!!!!!!!!

Can this method be done without short on ody v2? Since the Rebuildable part has ceramic on one side and none on other???

It is real easy setup, but using this for a day. I have to say I prefer the wick that comes with the ody. The ss mesh has no throat hit

yes it can crispy. You can grab the NR wire like we do on old style of Ody or you can leave it inside the metal channel

wick is always better for several reasons fay. But of course mesh works too on Ody

In one word Ody and Penelope can do everything. I never erase an option when I make something new or update something. I keep older options and I add new ones.

Do they have mesh at lowe's? I dont see any on their website. I wanna try wrapping the silica wick with mesh method as seen in imeo's vid to prevent it from gunking up so quickly.

and you still used the NR/R wire and not just straight kanthal or something like that?

I wonder what would happen if you made a mesh wick as stated above, but then took two pieces of silica and just lined the channels only. This would protect the wires, and also help feed juice to the metal wick.

I just found this, I was thinking about trying this setup with my ody. Unless their are some objections to this setup

the only difference is that I used mesh instead of wick. No other changes ob.

and you still used the NR/R wire and not just straight kanthal or something like that?
