I don't think FT will ship anything with a battery in it to Canada. I had a vendor use DHL back in March because they tried the postal service first and it got rejected at the border and went back. They resent it by DHL and it came 3 days later. FT won't give a shipping quote for Canada if you have batteries in your cart and state they don't ship external/loose batteries to Canada. I believe they used to for internal batteries but I don't think they do anymore.

They've never messed a order up, but they have delayed shipping.
Once it's out of their hands it takes a month to get to me.
Glad to hear you have not had problems....I've had delays in shipping, received wrong items, broken stuff, etc......and then dealing with the customer service, and them wanted you to accept less than what you are due, etc.........sigh.

Oh man, I'm freaking out now. Shipping info STILL just says "information received" for stuff I ordered 2 weeks ago. No way is this stuff going to make here before Doom Day, May 20. Hopefully our postal/customs people are not going to be revved up to start grabbing stuff on Day One. Or Week One. Or Month One (at the rate this shipping is going). :w00t:

Maybe its doing what mine did? No updates until it arrives basically. How long does it usually take?

I don't usually check it unless I perceive that it's really, really late in arriving, so I don't know how it normally is. Usually if I get curious I see something more than "information received" though. The orders just before this showed normal progression, like "despatched to overseas" then "arrived in post country."

(I'm only keeping track of the time so much this time because of TPD)

What worries me is if "information received" means that fasttech has not passed on the package to them yet, just some paperwork saying they have a package coming? Because they say something about, "this doesn't mean we have the physical item."

Just open a ticket and politely ask them what this means. :)

I'd open a ticket with FT and ask them to confirm if your package was really turned over to the carrier. If they haven't turned it over yet, ask them for free DHL so you'll get it sooner.

One thing in your favor regarding the TPD, your package from FT won't say it's from FT. Instead it will say it's from Mr. Chen or something like that, so it's not obvious that it's an e cigarette order.

Are you tracking with 17track.net? If not, try them. They sometimes provide more information on the tracking status than the USPS does.

Ah yes,i am very familiar with Mr. chen and the "Electronic gadgets" him and a few of his friends send me haha..
They must use the names of different employees or something because i've seen at least 5 different names on the sender part since i started looking at that, but it's always electronic gadgets, even if there is no electronics at all in the package,it even said that on an order of o-rings and drip tips haha
