After re reading and seeing how you placed order something sounds like it went haywire on their end and hopefully they will correct it for you.
Nothing to correct in my order as I cancelled it. But their system is broken and I thought if I let them know what happened to me, then maybe they will fix their system. I also told them that several times when ordering, products I picked all said that they had them in stock, only to change to having wait time(eta dates) upon completion of paying for the orders. That is not right either.

Hopefully, they will not just blow me off. But I will update this thread when I get an answer.

    I've had that happen a couple time.
    I was surprised this AM tho. I placed an order yesterday that showed 2 products due in 7 days.
    Just checked on the order, and it's being packaged, all items now in stock.
    I don't think they know whats in their inventory. Or it just takes time for the website to be updated?

    I placed an order several days ago. One item immediately went to OOS, but due in several days. So yesterday apparently they received a shipment from that supplier. It then was listed as "restocking (?)" I have no idea if the item actually arrived, and they should have known by now. Put in a ticket.

    I've placed many orders with FT in the past and they were efficient at processing them properly. I think they've changed ownership or management and it's just been a downhill slide for them. In stock means nothing anymore to them. I cancelled the last couple of orders with them last fall over the false in stock status and restocking nonsense. They don't get any more chances with me.

    Well folks, they are trying to blow me off. Here is the reply I received.

    As per checking, you have selected United States Express ePacket shipping method for order C050428722. It is not free shipping. If you prefer free shipping, please kindly select Regular Air Mail which is without tracking number.

    fasttech always takes shipping time very seriously. You can find the stock status of the items you want on the webpage. Some of the items will be restocked if we have sold them out temporarily.

    No, I did not select USPS Express ePacket shipping method. Your system changed it after I ordered it. This is what I am saying so please re-read my original statement. I am well aware of the stock status on the web page and all the items I ordered all said 'in stock' when I placed my order. YOUR system changed some of them to have eta times.
    Your system does NOT work well and I have been speaking to others I know who no longer order from you because of all of these problems. Your company used to be decent to deal with, but it seems you no longer care about the customer.

    Who here has dealt with returning items to their Miami facility? How long after your package was delivered, before you heard anything back? Tracking says they received it Monday afternoon in Miami (early Tuesday morning Hong Kong time) and I haven't heard back since. Is that normal?

    Who here has dealt with returning items to their Miami facility? How long after your package was delivered, before you heard anything back? Tracking says they received it Monday afternoon in Miami (early Tuesday morning Hong Kong time) and I haven't heard back since. Is that normal?

    I had a return a couple of years ago. I was told that when tracking showed delivery in Miami to notify them of delivery on my original ticket that I had started. IIRC it was just a day or so before I had my credit.

    Tell FT that you got the notice. I know with gc's, they can refund in minutes which is what I usually get.

    I'm not getting a refund/credit, they're supposed to send a replacement.

    Even with a replacement you still need to notify them so they can ship your new item. If you don't they will just wait until Miami gets around to informing them they have received it whenever that may be.

    Not bad customs went through pretty fast. I'm liking this method of order just a few items at a time.

    I had a return last month. Got a GC for the shipping right away. Took about 2 weeks for the item the get to China, then got a GC for the return. They would have gave me the money back on PP, but I am going to just spend it with them again, so a GC was fine with me.

    How long does it usually take out of stock items to be in stock? Seems like the same items have been out of stock for quite some time...

    Somewhere between 1 day and never. Some items show OOS but are never restocked, some are restocked at some point. If I wanted an item after a few days of OOS I would probably look elsewhere.

    I had placed 1 order placed for a bunch of battery wraps, the insulators for the batts and a few heat sinks for some getting tired 510 threads. Hours later I forgot to order some silicone cases for some new mods that are in the mail so I made a 2nd order. Both orders were shipped on the same day...May 6. The battery wraps didn't give me a epacket option so it went Singapore post. The silicone case order I got epacket option so for the 1.80 its worth it. Well..... the singapore order is still somewhere between countries not even in customs yet and the epacket hit my mailbox this morning, 6 days to ship epacket to Canada. The funny part is with Canada Post its 10 days from Ontario to BC.

    Glad you got yourself a christmas present. It might be christmas before the singpost gets to you.

    Epacket is the way to go.
