It seems my Cuboid lives again. A lot worse for wear and tear, A LOT worse. But functioning better than ever.

I don't know if I misunderstood foreign thread standards and assumed a typo or if the person who told me about this part was doing a close enough to make it work (I did) but I think the thread for this is M10x1.25. At least that's how I counted the threads. $4.90 with Amazon Prime for the tap.

I have never had it actually say Customs on tracking. I always figured that was part of ISC. That doesn't sound good.

Yeah,i have never seen it either,until this time.I hope it's only because it's scanned differently at different hubs,since almost all of my stuff always goes through Chicago,although i had 1 go through New York,but this one went through LA.It's getting really weird though,because earlier today it said it was processed through ISC,then said inbound to US customs,then later it said it was received at the LA distribution center,then a few hours later it was inbound to US customs again.I don't know if they released it,then pulled it back or what is going on,i just want my package haha.USPS is still optimistic though,as they are saying expected delivery of saturday,i hope they are right.

Yes it does. FT finally told me(this morning) that my package is in customs. From the tracking alone, mine appears to have never left China. What will happen now is anyone's guess.

My next FT purchase is going to be that 8 in one magnetic charger station, mainly for my radiuses. I realize it's not a very exciting purchase but lets face it I will NEVER talk the husband into replacing the USB port for me, at least not at the moment (he will be too busy). LOL my Minikin whatever I get by the time I get it, will wait. It'll be there. USB ports on the other hand....

I hope there's a sale right around the time I start re-earning money. I hope that time is SOON. Sometimes with some jobs there is just like, a wait and whatnot though.

I'm late catching up.

I've had packages sent 'standard ground', which means it originates to UPS who then delivers to my local post office. USPS takes it from there and delivers to me. Always takes at least one extra day.

I ordered a beastly new Dell laptop on Friday last week. It shipped from Bradenton, FL on Monday via UPS.

Its path to Gulf Shores, AL has been:

Bradenton, FL.->
Jacksonville, FL->
Tifton, GA ->
Montgomery, AL->
Whistler [Mobile], AL ->
Out for delivery today.

Jacksonville is a straight shot on I-10 to Pensacola, which is only about 40-ish miles NNE of here.

Also worth noting--any package containing Li ion batteries must ship via surface transportation.

Also, we have an awful porch pirate problem here. Local authorities have made headway by following UPS vans in unmarked vehicles, and popping members of a local gang of illegal aliens. Eighteen arrests this summer. All but two were illegals.

Well,at least for now,i can let out a sigh of relief.It cleared customs this afternoon,so it's now en route to a sort facility,i just hope the package gets here as i ordered it and nothing was removed from it,hopefully i'll find out in a few days.

That has to be a glitch.
I know I get similar with USPS sometimes and then the tracking system goes down.
Or it's stuck on a conveyor belt as close as the scans are.

FT says they have been in contact with carrier and it is in customs. Perhaps it is stuck on conveyor belt in customs. LOL

I'll definitely post when it gets here,still says expected Saturday,so hopefully i'll have it then.Hopefully yours gets figured out soon,that is crazy how it keeps jumping back and forth.My whole order this time has been different.Like yours is showing,mine always go through Beijing,but this time it went through ZHENGZHOU and moved pretty fast,mine shipped right around the same time as yours i think mine was shipped 7/28,and then once in the US,99% of the time,mine go through Chicago,but this was LA,so it seems everything is getting changed around,and i don't like it haha.

Yeah, I am not liking it much either. I am glad my other 2 arrived with no problems but they were shipped a few days earlier than this one. I am also glad this was the smallest and cheapest of the 3, just $50 bucks or so.

I haven't seen or heard anything about a fee yet,hopefully not,but i think if they did hit me with one,it will probably be when the package gets here,either they will collect before they leave the package,or leave a card to pick it up at the post office and then collect there.Last year,i had a package come through Fedex from China,and they hit me with the Customs fee,they didn't tell me that at the time,i got the package,then got a bill a week later for $28 and some change.

That's exactly what i said.Wouldn't of been so bad if they told me that,but to just have it show up was not cool.Especially as much as they charge for International shipping in the first place,then to charge me $28 which was almost half of what the mod cost haha.
