It was really funny. It said ships in five days, but they showed the picture of the package on the 29th. So now I have waited the usual time plus the five days.

Fewer orders, takes a longer time for a shipping container to fill up. And we are talking about sheecawgo, too.

This was also three Orchid 4's.

It is in sheecawgo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ended up getting my orchid v3 (v4 was sold out) from 101vape since i know ill get it fast and $20 is w/e.

But I did end up getting some other small parts like the chimney part of the orchid v4 and kayfun tanks. Wanted a drip tip but that wouldnt ship for 5 days so decided not to. Lets see how long the transit wait to TX currently is with china epacket.

I placed my very first Fasttech order on October 31st. It shipped on November 3rd and on the 4th tracking updated to "origin post is preparing shipment". I ordered a Nemesis clone that was shown to be in stock and I selected epacket shipping but as of today, no new tracking updates and of course, the package has not shown. I'm aware that packages can take a while from China but dang. I JUST WANT MY RED NEMESIS! I'm sure it will turn up at some point but I figured I'd at least see some tracking movement over the last two weeks... Fasttech was quick to get it out though. I liked that they even sent me a picture of my package.

Another data point on shipping. Two orders on 10/22 (Russian 91 clone and an ohmmeter) and 10/23 (Veritas and Zenith RDAs) by way of the HK post to Chicago. Received both on 11/13, so 21-22 days total ship time. It took about a week to get to "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment", and the status did not change until the day before shipment when it reached the local sort facility. So just assume when you get the Origin Post message above, that it's traveling and then going through customs, and that USPS does not update until it arrives locally.

I'll definitely buy from Fasttech again because of the great prices, but I would not recommend it for anyone just starting to vape. The wait time for me was 3 weeks, and I wanted to start building attys immediately! Get all the necessaries from local ebay vendors or domestic shops. If you're just adding to a collection however, the price can't be beat. Just don't check the USPS tracking site every day, because it will drive you nuts.

I will undoubtedly continue to put myself in this frustrating situation, so I will not complain. I do hate staring at "Information received" for a week or more, but I always think "you did this to yourself, you cheap ..........". I could have spent $40 for my atty instead of $10, $65 for a Mech instead of $25, $50 for my ohm meter instead of $17 and so on and so on. You all get the picture here .... .... is expensive. Even a plume veil clone is $30 more at a B&M near me. I picked it up, looked at it and saw some of the same issues being described on FT as to why it was not perfect, not that I expect them to be anyway. If I did, I would buy authentic and still hold a bit of room for some disappointment to fill my soul if I see an imperfection.

I guess the point is .. yeah FT shipments are slow, but I have never had an issue with FT as an entity. Not to discredit those who have, because it's inevitable when running a business. You can make some people happy and some you cannot. Unfortunately, some people who do not feel good about the way they are treated are justified, but in all honesty you have to account for a margin of error when doing business with anyone. You take the risk of your .... getting lost in the mail when making any online purchase, but with FT you multiply the distance of shipping by a factor of 10 and should assume that higher risk factor before clicking the Process Order button.

Currently I have an OhmMeter, a Stingray X, a Plume Veil, a butane torch and some assorted accessories/tools en route, I just don't know where specifically. I know deep down that I shouldn't check the USPS site every day, but regardless of how much it always hurts, I do it anyway and always find myself saying out "what the <expletive>". I give a tone of credit to FastTech for doing what they do. They're the reason tons of people pulled the trigger to explore new gear and expand their knowledge. I don't know about a lot of folks, but I'm not laying down $80 for one device to SEE if i like it or not. The only reason I went beyond an eGo in the first place was purchasing an MVP, then a Natural and Tobh, then a Trident, then a Magneto etc etc for prices I can only call "......ed" from FT. They allowed me to be adventurous with my purchases and find out what I like without getting divorced. For this reason combined with the fact that I currently have a device in my hand with a working button means I will continue to give my business to FT. I can wait for long shipping times (though I don't always WANT to) in exchange for A.) expanding my knowledge of the sport and B.) piling up a pretty awesome stock pile of things that take up space in my garage.

To those nonbelievers who condemn FastTech for their shipping times ... shame shame. I've never had FastTech hold a shipment longer than advertised. I've seen the post time and time again, so I will not take credit. I could probably quote it without looking ... "FastTech does not SHIP items. Once they leave the doors, it's not their responsibility". This is not a cop-out for FT, it's the truth.

Be patient .... keep purchasing .... keep learning .... keep vaping .... be patient (i typed this twice, but i'm leaving it here anyway).

Peace to all and Happy Shipping! I hope you all get your new toys shortly!

/Matt

It may just be "that time of year". One of two periods when China export slow to a halt. The other being around Chinese New Year.

Save some frustration and get "Package Buddy" or such for your phone. Ok... may not save frustrations, but at least you don't have to manually check and get disappointed :)
