I will undoubtedly continue to put myself in this frustrating situation, so I will not complain. I do hate staring at "Information received" for a week or more, but I always think "you did this to yourself, you cheap ..........". I could have spent $40 for my atty instead of $10, $65 for a Mech instead of $25, $50 for my ohm meter instead of $17 and so on and so on. You all get the picture here .... .... is expensive. Even a plume veil clone is $30 more at a B&M near me. I picked it up, looked at it and saw some of the same issues being described on FT as to why it was not perfect, not that I expect them to be anyway. If I did, I would buy authentic and still hold a bit of room for some disappointment to fill my soul if I see an imperfection.
I guess the point is .. yeah FT shipments are slow, but I have never had an issue with FT as an entity. Not to discredit those who have, because it's inevitable when running a business. You can make some people happy and some you cannot. Unfortunately, some people who do not feel good about the way they are treated are justified, but in all honesty you have to account for a margin of error when doing business with anyone. You take the risk of your .... getting lost in the mail when making any online purchase, but with FT you multiply the distance of shipping by a factor of 10 and should assume that higher risk factor before clicking the Process Order button.
Currently I have an OhmMeter, a Stingray X, a Plume Veil, a butane torch and some assorted accessories/tools en route, I just don't know where specifically. I know deep down that I shouldn't check the USPS site every day, but regardless of how much it always hurts, I do it anyway and always find myself saying out "what the <expletive>". I give a tone of credit to FastTech for doing what they do. They're the reason tons of people pulled the trigger to explore new gear and expand their knowledge. I don't know about a lot of folks, but I'm not laying down $80 for one device to SEE if i like it or not. The only reason I went beyond an eGo in the first place was purchasing an MVP, then a Natural and Tobh, then a Trident, then a Magneto etc etc for prices I can only call "......ed" from FT. They allowed me to be adventurous with my purchases and find out what I like without getting divorced. For this reason combined with the fact that I currently have a device in my hand with a working button means I will continue to give my business to FT. I can wait for long shipping times (though I don't always WANT to) in exchange for A.) expanding my knowledge of the sport and B.) piling up a pretty awesome stock pile of things that take up space in my garage.
To those nonbelievers who condemn FastTech for their shipping times ... shame shame. I've never had FastTech hold a shipment longer than advertised. I've seen the post time and time again, so I will not take credit. I could probably quote it without looking ... "FastTech does not SHIP items. Once they leave the doors, it's not their responsibility". This is not a cop-out for FT, it's the truth.
Be patient .... keep purchasing .... keep learning .... keep vaping .... be patient (i typed this twice, but i'm leaving it here anyway).
Peace to all and Happy Shipping! I hope you all get your new toys shortly!
