What are you considering getting from fasttech ..... I give kits away to smokers trying to quit from time to time. I'm glad to see they started putting cloned evods on the cloned ego batteries now in their cheap 20 buck kits. It makes it easier to convert someone to get off cigarettes.

I just wish they came with 1.8ohm heads installed.

Actually, I got that advice from someone on the forum when I posted about getting the Octopus. They said to plug the airhole on the body and drill one out on the wick and hold on tight. lol

I don't have a bit small enough for either solution. I may have to break down and buy some.

They would look good with a steampunk mod.

I have those in my wish list. I may need them when I start rebuilding evod heads.

Advance apologies for being so needy.......

I am wanting to order a VAMO from FT, but I am having a hard time choosing between all of the options. I have read that the tanks that come with it are not what they claim to be. ANYWAY....I feel that I would be happy with the "black" VAMO 2. How can I distinguish between the original VAMO and the V2? Should I order the kit with batteries and charger, or get that stuff elsewhere? The larger size wouldn't bother me as some have said, so I would prob go with the larger battery. Thanks!

You are showing wisdom there sir !! I order extra lower (1.8 I think and sometimes I find 1.5 OHM somewhere else) OHM heads myself for that very reason....agreed !!

Stainless is supposed to be the most durable finish https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...vivi-stainless-steel-voltage-adjustable-e-cig

Stainless alone https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...vivi-voltage-adjustable-e-cigarette-battery-c

Gunmetal black alone https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...vivi-voltage-adjustable-e-cigarette-battery-c

Gunmetal kit https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...vivi-voltage-adjustable-e-cigarette-battery-c

The kits I linked to have the better Nitcore charger and Panasonic batteries. I would avoid the kits with cheap trustfire or no-name batteries and chargers.

As far as I know, all the Vamos at FT are V2 or V3, none are the "original" model.

The X10 is supposed to use eVod heads. I have one on the way and I will post my findings when it arrives.

If you are going to order a Vamo, I would suggest ordering the Nitecore i4 charger and Panasonic batteries instead of ordering one of the kits. I ordered a SS Vamo V2 Nitecore i4 and 4 Panasonic 2250mAh 18650s. I am liking this combo. If the SS V3 had been available, I may have ordered it instead.

I wish I had seen some 1.5ohm eVod heads. I would like to give some to a new vaper.

No matter which version you get, if you're going to buy the kit the best deal is the one with Nitecore charger and 2 18650's.

If I'm not mistaken all the Vamo's currently listed at FT that are not V3 are the updated Vamo V2. If you go to the product description page you can ask a FT rep any pertinent questions. They're usually pretty good at responding.

avoid the black chrome color it wears off easily and you have to get skins to cover it up.

if you really like black chrome color get it and once the finish fades off you can DIY warp it:)

Hiya,
You don't really want an "original" v1 vamo - and I doubt anyone sells them now. The v2 vamos are the original Vamos - and more than one factory assembles them and sells them. The Fasttech Vamos are fine.
The gunmetal finish on Vamos has been known to wear off easily. I have one but haven't used it much because my silver one has got so much use so the finish on mine is ok. I'd recommend silver rather than gunmetal (black). Stainless steel will be a bit lighter to hold and a more durable mod, including the finish.
Hope that's some help.

I have a black chrome Vamo from Health Cabin received right after Thanksgiving last year. My husband uses and abuses it daily at work and home. It looks beat all to hell, 1 of the +/- buttons doesn't move anymore but still adjusts the readings, the black chrome color is almost non existent but she still works like a champ for 7 months now. Because it takes a licking and keeps on ticking I ordered a chrome Vamo from Fasttech. Wanted to order the SS but was reading around and people were saying FT was sending out the chromes so I decided not to risk the extra 3 bucks. The second Vamo works just fine too. I think for the price you can't go wrong and the battery life with and 18650 in it lasts both him and I at least a day, usually a day and a half before having to change out the batt. I don't miss using my Ego batteries 1 bit, they sit in a drawer for now and are great for back-ups or to help start smokers on there way to being smoke free!

For all of you "ravers" out there.....Have you seen the "LED" CE4 Atomizers ? Sorry but this funny...

$11.99 CE4 1.6mL Electronic Cigarettes Round Mouth Atomizer w/LED (7-Pack) 7-pack - black + pink + red + blue + yellow + green + translucent at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

•Internal LED lights up as you vape

Best part is if you use them on a mod with PWM (vamo, SVD, *-max exc) you get a strobe light effect.

I really got to stop looking at the FT site. I saw these available now and had to get a couple. $5.70 Pyrex Glass DCT Tank Atomizer (3.0mL) - silver / 1.5 ± 0.2 I fell in love with a nickle mesh smoktech carto I picked up at my local vape shop. It might actually be the thing that pries the BCC's I have from my cold dead hands.
