I had the same thing happen shannan. What I worked out was that the pass through needs close to 2 A to run and the charger puts out either .5 or 1 A. You risk doing some seriouse damage running it off of your computer. I am using a power usb that puts out over 2 A or you will need to get a usb wall wart that puts out over 2A.

For personal reasons.

Just an FYI: I'm not sure if they are all the same, but the iPad wall warts meet this spec and I have only ever seen one car cigarette lighter USB nub that would put that much out... I can't remember what it was now, but I found them on Amazon. Unfortunately, you will have to sift through the reviews to find that valuable information, that's what I can't point you directly to it at the moment. And like you, I'd worry about using the computer USB port for that as well.

Took one out, removed plasticky tank thingy, added drip tip and cone, dripped. Very good indeed - lots of flavour and vapour - and cheap as chips!

Small niggle. Threads on atty base seem a little rough. Otherwise all good imho.

Replying to my own post just as a warning. The threads on these have been machined by a quern. Rough ain't in it. PLEASE use a 510 to ego adapter if you are going to use these (looks a bit odd sticking so far above the cone but - boy- flavour and tons of vape for pennies. ) Just don't whack one into your Vamo and expect the threading to survive.

Sorry, I am not Shannanagans, but I may be able to help. I also Have the X6, I bought the kit but use my Apollo ego adapter to charge my X6. It charges it just fine. Just tighten it up good and watch the light go from green to red and starts flashing. So yes you can use something other then the one that comes with the kit. Hope this helps ya out.

I did buy the kit. I used a regular ego charger on it, and it was fine. It didn't feel as secure on it as it did the dedicated charger, so just make sure it's not somewhere that it can get bumped like a counter or table.

The igo-l on my picture is the real one, comparing it to the photos on FT it looks that the FT ones are clones, pretty good ones tho.

Regarding the tank and cartos i got them from hoosiervapes, boge F16 tank with boge F16 flanged replacement cartos. I'm loving them right now, that's why i have 2 pyrex tanks on my next order from FT but i'll probably buy boge cartos from healthcabin

Basically the one I ordered, but under a different naming system?

Phoenix V4 Detachable Dripping Atomizer (1.2ml)

I was having a hard time trying to ohm it out after building a coil for it, but finally tried a "micro" style coil with 32awg A1, something like 10 wraps (around a 3/32 drill bit), came out to 2.5ohms or so. Not bad I guess, is my first dripping atty/RDA, so no expert by any means. Been tinkering with mine, and kinda chain vaping it. It's been getting hot with some chain vaping on my ego, but not to the point I can't vape it.

I'd say, not bad, but I will personally need to tinker with it more to try to get the most out of it. YMMV. For the price, I'd say it's worth picking up to mess with it.

I think USPS is behind. It sucks, that we all know. My battery was delivered today and my delivery status touch app said it would be tomorrow. I called USPS and they said the same thing the app said. 3 hours later, after I watched the postman scan my delivery, it said out for delivery. My FT order is in San Fran as well and just says processed through sorting.

Got my X9 and x10 today. X9 works fine - tank sounds like glass when tapped with a finger. X10 works fine on my Lambo - but 999s on the Vamo. Perhaps its the threading - the thread "pole" seems to be a bit short. I think the X9 will become a firm favourite because of the nice big tank. The X10 - jury still out because of the threading issue.

I got 2 x10's that work fine on my Vamo. The heads on yours probably are not making contact to the positive pin on your Vamo. I ended up putting in a kanger evod head pretty soon as the heads that came with mine tasted burnt. Which I think is odd as the head that came in my X9 worked great. I really like the X10 as they work just as good as my evods but match the size of bigger mods better.

The X9 I got really trips me out the way it sounds like glass when you tap it with something. I did the scratch test on it and it is defiantly polycarbonate. The X9 and X10 are both well built and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either of them from my experience so far with them.

Which X9 do you guys have? The translucent one initially released...

Just irritated... this one has my VAMO, batteries and charger in it! And, FT had the VAMO in stock when I ordered it, but then didn't... and had to wait until the 4th of July to receive it from the manufacturer and then ship it off to me.... order was placed on the 28th. AND it's gotta make it's way all the way out to my APO box in the UK, so has to travel across the US to NY first, then get transported to the UK.
