Any issues with firing/charging on your twist kit? Your center post looks very similar to mine before i had to take a dremel to it.

If yours works and charges, im sure you're golden. Mine had some kind of weird residue/glue/leftover plating or something on the top post and wouldnt charge/fire anything. Nothing a quick touchup with a tiny grinder ball and dremel couldn't fix, my grinding seems to have revealed brass. Has worked flawlessly since.

I got a couple sets of these so I can give out 3-4 tanks per kit. They work great. They are disposable though, you cannot change the heads. I figure 4 tanks and a battery should last a new person at least a few months and the investment is very small.. and they can experience multiple tanks so they can have flavor variety at their fingertips with no rinsing or cleaning.

They are variable voltage with the twist knob on the bottom. Real easy to deal with and good performers. An entire kit is then about 20 bucks. You can up the ante if you want and get them an extra battery to rotate here: https://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10004043/1408803

Problem is, I can't find standalone 650mah twist batteries at Fasttech. They are all 1100's unless you buy that little kit for 15 bucks.

so, you could buy 2x650mah twist kits (https://www.fasttech.com/products/1392700), 7 extra tanks (https://www.fasttech.com/products/1392700) and a little case ($2.82 Electronic Cigarette Carrying Zipper Pouch Bag for Ego (Small Size) - blue / inner size 130mm*45mm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping) all for about 48 bucks, free shipping, no sales tax. And that's a hell of a good kit to start off. You could cut that to 25 bucks if you just buy one CE5 kit and 2 extra tanks instead of the 7 pack.

I'll pay 50 bucks out of my own pocket any day if it'll get one of my good friends off cigarettes. And if it's a bust and he doesn't like it or doesn't take to it, get it back, throw away the tanks and order 7 new ones for 12 bucks and hand it off to another friend.

The only other advice I would give is for juice. If you haven't tried Fasttech's offerings, get a few bottles... it's dirt freekin cheap. You don't get 30ml of juice anywhere else for 5 bucks. I personally don't like any of it that I've gotten so far, but everyone else seems to love the stuff for the price point. To me, the only one that was tolerable was the RY4 (https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10004420/1393318-hangsen-e-liquid-for-electronic-cigarettes-30ml), but it didn't have the heavier caramel that I love from Apollo RY4.
Again, I seem to be the only one that doesn't like their liquids so take it with a grain of salt.

Another note about product...

$8.67 X10 Protank Atomizer Coil Heads (10-Pack) 10-pack - 2.4

These things are nasty out of the bag. I had to take a syringe and everclear and thoroughly rinse the wicking and coil in these. The have the nastiest taste, I can't even describe it.
After washing out with straight Everclear, they work fantastic.

I think they are priming these things with automatic transmission fluid or something. I've heard the same complain about the EVOD's, but the ones I got didn't have that nasty taste in them. I guess it's hit and miss.

Another thing to note is that the metal tube on top that goes into the airway is shorter than the stock Protank heads. I believe this is adding to the vapor being even more cool than the originals.

Does anyone know if the Sigelei Kick will fit inside the TVS MOD https://www.fasttech.com/product/1400102
I have found dimensions for the TVS but not for the Sig Kick..maybe someone has this combo and can tell me whether it fits? If it doesn't fit I can just buy a fuse (Smoktech, Holocron Labs or Kamry)

Generally any mechanical device that will fit an 18650 can use that kick by going to an 18490 or 18500.

You should have gone to a US Mom and Pop vendor, they would drive to your neighbourhood overnight then crawl on their knees the final mile holding your purchase on a velvet cushion and that's no mean feat for a little old lady.

I probably wouldn't hand a newb a 1300. I think most would be more comfortable with a smaller form. I think that is the main attraction for cigalikes. I would go with a 650 and most people on here have said the evod clones from FT work fairly well. Also that EU to US adapter in the kit you listed is just one more thing to break or end up lost. Go with a straight US plug.
