I've got an MVP sitting there since Friday myself... and I want that thing bad. I'm really tired of changing batteries hourly.
Mine is, as well. Has been sitting since it shipped on the 3rd.

Delay In Outbound Air Mail Services
To safeguard aviation security, Hongkong Post does not accept the sending of air mail items (including Speedpost) that contain dangerous articles such as perfumery products, lighters and lithium batteries. Hence, all mail items entering the Air Mail Centre are subject to x-ray screening. Recently, there is an increasing number of air mail items detected to contain suspected dangerous articles, in particular, lithium batteries, which lengthens the screening process. In this connection, air mail registration service, iMail service and Bulk Air Mail service may be subject to delay. Any inconvenience caused is much regretted.
The following was posted today on FT's customer forums...

Heres the original posted at Hongkongpost. Looks like its got the flashlight folks jammed up too.
Ordered a V3 on 09-01. Tracking showed the package at Hong Kong on the 3rd. Guess where my package is today the 10th... STILL IN HONG KONG. Fast tech processed the order fairly quickly but the postal service of Hong Kong seems to suck. ZahZoo's post explains it I suppose. Gonna think twice before ordering from China again. I'm to impatient for my orders to keep running into these "Great Walls".
This one is moving a little better than some recent ones:
Wait, so is that saying that from now on they're not allowing batteries to be shipped via airmail, aka they have to take the slow boat?
That can't be right, can it?
Did it have any "contraband" items in it like batteries, liquids or lighters?
I'm curious if it did and still went through. I need to get another order in for liquids and stuff but I'm afraid it'll get held up and rejected or something.
Hiya, well I'm waiting for my SVD to ship. Not sure if there's much else I want from them - although if the Protank is ok I might. I'll see how some others find it - will appreciate hearing from anyone who gets the Protank from FT.
Waited about 20 days to get ego twist, when it arrived it would not function. No matter how many button clicks or length of time holding down the button would turn this thing on. Stuck it on a charger and an hour later it was very warm. Got RMA number from FT, went to USPS and the clerk actually asked me if I was trying to mail lithium battery, I said yes... he said no way. Went to ups (FT wants me to return this to Miami) and they want $10.33 to ship UPS Ground. Told FT the situation and their reply was they will give me 40% credit and I keep broken battery, what a deal. I'm taking the credit because I'm afraid FT won't pay me back the $10.33, and then I'm finding a new source for batteries.
I think Hong Kong post have recently decided (like most other post offices around the world) that mailing lithium batteries by air is unsafe.
Expect delays and opened packages.
