Hey, how's the fire button on that Nemesis? One of the reviewers said the switch didn't fire sometimes, wanted a 2nd opinion on that.

Thx!

Well, when I first got it, the switch was pretty crunchy. I mean, it was lousy. After a really good alcohol bathe and rinse and a dab of lithium lubricant, it was worlds better. It's not too bad, but it still feels kinda junky. The tolerances are really loose and is wobbles a lot. If you push from the edges, it does bind up a little. The most likely cause is that the switch post is considerably smaller than the hole in the carrier. Usually in a design like this, you would use an extremely hard material such as M50 on the center post that is highly polished, and then a slightly softer metal carrier with the hole bored to a much tighter tolerance to reduce the "leaning" effect of the carrier that allows it to pinch or dig in to the pin. Quite frankly, the switch on this is a pretty poor design overall.
However, this isn't a clone problem, the real one is built exactly the same way. I say this based on videos I have seen of the original mod.
I'm working around the whole problem by training myself to hold it in such a way that my finger wraps completely under the bottom so I am always pressing on it evenly or in the center.

don't get me wrong, it's still a really nice mod and i've seen WAY worse switches.

If I thought I'd have to wait a month or more, I'd just have spent $10-$15 extra; I care about my health and I have NO other device to vape and no money to spend $10 a night on a Blu disposable. I guess it's time to just throw more money out the window and order a real Twist from Discount Vapors, they had fantastic shipping time, 2 days I believe. Two weeks was acceptable for me when it came to having $15 extra to spend on a few extra packs of cigarettes until it came in. If I continue to wait, that's probably $40 in cigarettes I'll spend. I could spend less than that just ordering a new device and selling the China clone to a friend once they take interest in vaping.

Somewhere out there
I started to order the mini bcc yesterday. May go ahead and order it Friday.

I've been going back and forth on trying one of the mini BCCs too. It looks nice, but I really need more glass tanks. Still, it snuck back into my cart again somehow.

I'm waiting on a KWX10 and one of these https://www.fasttech.com/p/1437023. I'm hoping the mini protank shows up this week, and once I try it I'll decide if I get another or the BCC instead.

Am I missing something here? You are a veteran, you have been here since May 2012, why do you have to order from China to keep from buying cigarettes? If you needed it quicker, there are other suppliers in the USA!! Just wondering why the rush from FT if you need it NOW !!!

Apparently he thought it would be two weeks. Two weeks is about the best you could hope for from Fasttech though. More likely three. And a month or longer is certainly possible if it gets held up in customs, or there is a typhoon, or some other unforeseeable problem occurs.

But saving on his vape gear to buy cigs? That's just...

He doesn't have a lot of money. He was trying to quit and got taken by the lovely Blu folks... To him, he got what he could with the little money he had left. Then it got held up in this nonsense with customs. Now does he spend what he has on smokes to get him by until it arrives, or go spend 5X as much at a US vendor with money he doesn't have?
Some folks live paycheck to paycheck. I remember days long ago when I had 2-3 bucks left in my checking account on payday. 25 bucks is a serious expenditure for someone in that position, let alone 50 bucks to overpay for a stinking EVOD kit or something.
I'd rather show a little understanding and offer to help out than run him off with a bad taste for ECF, and vaping in general.
Soon as he figures out he has a PM, I've offered to send him a free kit with juice to get him by. What will anyone else offer to actually help him out instead trying to make him feel unwelcome?

I haven't read through this all. But what's the consensus in the trident clone? I'm waiting for it and it looks quality but I'm curious.

Absolutely hands down awesome. No kidding, best dripper I have, and excellent airflow options right out of the box. Buy it, You won't be sorry.

I'm going to bring this forward, since I never got a response...

Has anyone cancelled an item from a paid shipment that is waiting on said item to come in stock, only to find the rest of the shipment has become untouchable to additional item cancellations? How about an item going from "ready to ship" to "restocking" when the item says it is in stock and ships the next day when viewed on it's own page?

After the SVD and little Bagua shipped on Friday, I discovered that there were a bunch of coil heads I would probably need by mid-October, so I have another order in. They have the authentic Kanger PT heads back in stock, so some of those, some evod coil heads, some KW06 heads, and 2 Liqua flavours I'm running a bit short of...and because Autumn is nearing, a weather clock... Tried to tone down my desire for pretty-shinies :)

i couldn't help myself. I placed an order for the chi you clone and an oddy tank. I'm going to stay away from ordering batteries from ft for now until we get a clear cut conclusion on what hong kong's stance is on the shipping of these items.

amazon.com offers the panasonic 3400mah for $38 + free shipping for 4 batts, whereas, FT's price is around $31 for 4 batts. Not a bad price plus I'll be supporting a US vendor.

The nitecore chargers are cheaper on amazon than they are on ft as well.

mtbakervapor offers 236ml juices for $40 while ft offers 100ml juices for $15. So 200ml on ft would be $30. I think the juice from mtbakervapor is worth the $10 extra anyday. Plus you get to pick your ratios at mtbakervapor.

SO, since batteries are really the only thing that has a chance of not finding it's way to US soil, I'd suggest buying batteries from domestic vendors. For anything else, go right on ahead and click that "make payment" button in your shopping cart. xD

Those items should have no problem finding it's way into your hands, but we should still expect longer wait times for all of our orders, whether it has batteries in it or not.

Hiya, well I'm waiting for my SVD to ship. Not sure if there's much else I want from them - although if the Protank is ok I might. I'll see how some others find it - will appreciate hearing from anyone who gets the Protank from FT.

I placed 2 orders with FT, the wait is the worst part .
As for the Pro Tank ,, I got 2 of the knock offs with plastic instead of Pyrex . The 1 I'm vaping on as I'm typing now works just fine.

At $4.00 or around that, it's a great deal. I've got several of the original Pro Tanks to make my opinion .
