Previously, when my packages didn't get updated but arrived regardless, I thought that they were updated when they shipped out of Hong Kong, but the update hadn't been uploaded, then the package hits SF and then my own PO, they scanned it, but still no update because the HK update hadn't loaded. Anyway, AFTER I received my package the updates appeared a bit later :p

We have issues like this at work, waiting for one department to upload records so that we can access them... if they are not loaded, we make temporary records and wait for the upload to overwrite them.

While I have nothing to add to the shipping issues, wait times etc, I have an issue with the quality. I guess the "you get what you pay for" applies at all times....

I had ordered:
10 pack EVOD's, $21.22 EVOD Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizer (10-Pack / 1.5mL) 10-pack - 2.4
8 of MT4's $2.61 Mt4 1.6ml Electronic Cigarette Tank Atomizer - black / 2.4
and 5 coil replacements $4.58 EVOD Electronic Cigarettes Atomizer Heating Core (5-Pack) 5-pack - 2.4

My wife and I are not heavy vaping by any stretch of imagination and yet 4 of the 10 EVOD and 1 of the MT4's produced a burnt taste after about a week or so. Turns out that some strands of the flavor wick had burn marks. I removed those and in one case I replaced the coil with one of the replacements. So far so god.

What I noticed though is that those 3 coil types are quite different and some of them seem to be put together somewhat careless.

A week ago I purchased a set of coils for EVOD at my local vape shop. Not sure if it was accidental but I got those which are usually used in a Kanger Protank. The top (I call it the chimney) is about twice as tall as on the EVOD assy's. They seem to be far superior to the others.

Anybody else having that kind of experience as well?

Cheers.

I've gotten these both previously from US vendors as well and they are all a hit or miss. I just trashed about 4 clearos much like the M4s that were all from US vendors... they have been a hit or miss since I started vaping. I moved on to Boge carto tanks and just had a Boge that I couldn't get air through - the 1st time that's happened to me. The only thing I've NEVER had an issue with is the M3s from another Chinese vendor... they are a smallish ml, but good for testing juice and taking for short drives =] I think every product will have some issue... we're a relatively new industry =]

I have had issues with delivery systems from US vendors as well as Chinese. What I have finally decided is to buy the cheapest delivery system and then rebuild the heads. I love the X6 and X8 from fasttech. I rebuilt the heads and ordered Boges. I still have to take a hacksaw to the Boges in order to get my 25/75 ish liquid to work right.

The Kanger Protank head had a much longer stem than the Kanger Evod head, they are interchangeable though and now Kanger just do the one type of head for both. I have had Evod clones with both the long and the short type.

I purchased two OE Evods from my local vape shop then ordered the 7 pack from FT. I have been using them for over a month and have rebuilt a couple of coils because I wanted to but none of the originals have failed. I am even using some juice that cracked my CE4's and it has not affected the knock-off evods.

You are correct that replacement atomizers (chimneys as you call them) are taller. I believe that they are the original design of the Evod atomizer. It was changed at some point in time to make them the same as the ProTanks.

I've been happy with them.

When you change an order, it goes back down to the bottom of the que. You had a reservation, then you changed it, so you are back down to the bottom of the list for the product, and everyone else who ordered will now get it before you.

When you cancel an item and get refunded as a gift certificate, it all happens immediately, no waiting.
When you request a refund, the entire order goes into hold until paypal sends the refund ...

It's all in the FAQ on FT.
FT has a very linear, one process at a time computer program.
:vapor:
That's how it worked, I got my refund and now I can mess with the rest of the order. It would be nice if more than one item could be removed at a time without having to get the refund as a gift certificate. The way they have it set up now encourages the customer to cancel the whole order.

Kanger is moving to make one coil for both Evod and Protank. Last pack of Kangers I got was labeled Protank\Evod. As far as I can tell the only purpose of the center post is to give you something to grab when removing the assembly from the base.

Well, back from the post office to pick up a package from Fasttech and it was NOT my Bolt/Volt clone. Instead it was 2 packages of CE4s $8.99 CE4 Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizers (8-Pack) - 1.6ml / 2.4ohm / black + pink + purple + red + yellow + blue + green at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping I ordered for some eGos I am PIFing to someone interested in switching from smoking to vaping :p IN ADDITION, there was a nice Protank, which I cannot find on my orders :/ I did get a GOLD Protank to go with my TVS that had thread issues, but I've been discussing a return about that one. The closest I can find is this one, but WITHOUT the removable drip tip

$5.76 Protank-2 BCC Clearomizer (3.5mL) - translucent / 2.4ohm / removable drip tip at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

THIS .... these are by far my favorite type of clearos simply for the fact that they are SO easy to rebuild. I actually consider them inexpensive RBA's. 7 or 8 wraps of 30 gauge wrapped on a 1/16" drill bit... I do a cotton wick for the main, and then a few strands of silica for a flavor wick (the amount is adjusted based on the PG/VG ratio you're using) Flavor is outstanding with this method imho.

I've got one of the brass M16s on order. It says it's supposed to ship on the 13th. It's the 13th. I don't think they're going to make that deadline.

....Aaaaaannnnnnnddd...

They bumped it :(

They've split my order up and are mailing the rest of the stuff in one package. Too bad for me; the 16 was the only thing I really wanted on that order, the rest of it was fluff.
Sigh. Oh well, at least I can join in on the HK Postal Race.

The order I placed a month ago will finally be here today! Sweet, Monday vapemail is the best.

The one I placed 12 days ago is still stuck. Others 2 I placed when all items where in stock (next day shipment) haven't even shipped yet. That seems to happen a lot.... you place and order of nothing but items that say they will ship the next day, then after you place the order it says 5-7 days until shipment for half the items you picked.

I like to believe it's because they have good QA and catch broken or messed up items wile verifying them before shipping, and not because their stocking system is inaccurate and they have no real idea how many of each item they have.

I believe this as well. I ordered a PV recently and THEN I saw a huge discussion about it not working properly. My own order immediately said that this particular item would be shipped apart from the main order. In addition, I ordered an item and reported the threads were not 510 as specified. I now see that the item has been removed from the search feature and while I can still view it from my own link, it cannot be seen by customers to order.

Well, you most likely aren't going to get the greatest of customer care from a place that closed up. You could try emailing them, but I'm guessing since they sold out their entire stock inside of 6-8 hours, they are probably pretty busy doing everything except answering emails and stuff... if they ever do at all. You just ordered the stuff on Friday, relax... it'll be a little while.
Don't worry though, they are as legit as it gets. I ordered almost 300 bucks (after 50% discount) worth of stuff from them and I wouldn't have if it were a high-risk scenario.
So give it some time, at least another week, it'll be there soon.
He has been around for many years. He's made a .... load of cash and a lot of people know him. Also, my guess is he won't stay out of the business for long either... he's made too much money to just walk away.

Thanks. That's reassuring. I was confident everything would work-out OK in the end. My concern is that I told several non-ECF people about it and one person placed an order. Wanted to be ready with a response once the phone call came saying: "What the heck..."
