So I ordered a bunch of stuff from FT, and some of the things already arrived but one of my order's which as been shipped already over a week ago still still has the Status:processing, Location: Hong Kong. And I am worried that maybe my package has been lost or something because none of my other orders from FT have taken this long just to leave Hong Kong..

Anybody else have the same experience, or could provide me some insight? I am usually patient when it comes to ordering from China but I just have a bad feeling about this specific order...

Chances are that its stuck on top of ole Mount Hong Kong post. Looks like its sorting out though. Theres alot of us here with the same issue. They are in the middle of a "crack down" of what one can transport via air mail. The main concern it seems is "shaped" batteries. Hope it works out soon for you.

Yes. Hong Kong Post is flexing their bureaucratic muscles and delaying mail because of prohibited items and making life difficult for retailers and consumers.

OR

They are being invaded by hordes of Mongols and every available man, woman and child is busy defending the Wall so they are unable to manufacture, package and ship our items until later in the week once the Mongols have been defeated yet again.

I'm guessing it's more like fire drills in high school. The school administration gets on a kick about safety and wants to be assured that an evacuation can be done. Once they've scratched that itch they move on to something else and things go back to normal.

Oh, you mean like a "Chinese fire drill?"

Man! I knew there was something else going on! Those pesky Mongols! Don't make me come over there! NOBODY gets between me and my vape gear! :grr:

RANGERmsr, OzarkTroutBum : Thanks guys, yeah I heard about the issues they've been having specifically with batteries. I ordered mostly drip tips, RBA's, and a Sentinal so I thought I was in the clear. I guess we'll see though. I opened a ticket on FT so hopefully they'll get back to me sometime this year and explain to me whats going on, or perhaps contact the Hong Kong post.

Hoping for the best! appreciate all your guys' help

well i just put a order for one battery with them and it's not shipped yet but they've decided to use the singapore route way rather than hong kong.. maybe that would help is be the normal processing time?
I think thats the general idea. I think they will know the best "work around" for the situation. Let us know how it goes

That Chi You clone is giving me bedroom eyes. This isn't really the thread for this, but just how necessary is a rebuildable atomizer for mechanical vaping? Is it pointless if I don't go the RBA/RDA route?

Yep, my stuff shipped within 24 hours (i.e. packed and presumably sent to Singapore Post), but it took some time for the site to update the status. It's been 6 business days counting today, and I fully intend on updating the thread when I receive it.

I got a chi you clone from them a week ago and it works like a dream. Well because your getting straight battery (approx 4.2-3.7v) with a mechanical, unless your stacking batteries, you've pretty much gotta keep your atomizer ohms in a certain range. Thats why people rebuild so they could get it within that range for a perfect vape.

You don't have to go with rebuildables, but I'm not sure if they sell any clearos/cartos/etc thats low enough in resistance to use on a mechanical. I asked the same question when I first got into them and I threw on a stock Kanger protank II on a mechanical and it performed piss poor because the resistance was too high. I ended up rebuilding the coil in the kanger to approx .8 ohms and it worked perfectly. (but that was much harder than a standard RBA/RDA to rebuild)

btw if you wanna see how the chi clone looks like... VAPEMAIL.jpg next to my Nemesis.. I've got 3 brass Chi's on the way already haha so I could sell some to people at ECC at a decent price..(because everybody is getting totally ripped off with ebay and some other vendors, charging like 70-100 for that same clone)
