I hate to say it, but you're better off buying them state side. A lot of the pre-made heads on FT leave a bit to be desired. Another option is to rebuild them yourself, as you'll have total control of the ohms and the vape. Here's a pretty good tutorial:

A PBusardo Tutorial - Vivi Nova Cleaning & Rebuilding - YouTube

I'll unfortunately have to agree with him.
I buy Protank/EVOD heads from FT just to have more parts to rebuild. I don't know if it's the dang wire or the wick they are using, but they tend to taste like garbage. Even buying the EVODs in singles or 7-packs, they all have a really nasty taste to them.
Many people tell you to boil and clean them before you use them but I've done that and still can't get rid of that nasty taste. Everything I buy from FT is assumed to need re-coiled before use.
Having said that, the silica wick that they sell (https://www.fasttech.com/p/1435104) is really great stuff. I see they also have it in 100ft lengths now too ($16.03 Fiberglass Wick for E-Cigarette (30M / 98ft) - 2mm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping).
My next order is going to include a box of these ( $6.80 Replacement Wicks and Wires for Rebuildable Atomizer (50-Pack) 50-pack - 2.0ohm / w/plastic case at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping ) just to see if they taste bad or not. If they are usable, man... I can hardly justify making them myself. I just feel bad for the poor SOB who is sitting on a stool all day winding these up for dirt wages.

I noticed when I was rebuilding some of these, that they don't use non- resistance "leg" wire from the kanthral/ni-chrome. It can burn the rubber grommet that holds the wire to place. It tastes REALLY nasty when that happens. The Kangers I've rebuilt had the non-resistant leg.

Just a thought.

It still could just be the wick or wire they use. Either way, I just buy them from FT to rebuild too

Lisa, how did you like those CE4s you got? Some of mine are dry hitting really bad. I had one with no notch cut in the contact post, so no air flow whatsoever.

every CE4 I got from FT went in the trash.
All they do is run dry, I can't get them to wick hardly at all. I finally just settled on iclear 16's and called it good. The only down side is the insane amount of liquid I go through now... but the flavor and warmth are just unmatched.

None of mine have.
Not Visions Vivi Nova's either.
Both have that same issue and I've had it with stock heads. It's one of the major driving forces of me switching to gennies.

I ended up getting 20 of them and have 4 that I have been vaping with - not constantly, just in a rotation of about 10 clearos/tanks. I checked all of them and all 20 are notched. There are usually some duds, either locked up from the start, which may be from the missing notch, some are cracked and leak straight away, and others misfire, BUT so far so good with these. I try not to depend on them since I've gone through trashing them one after the other, but I've been lucky with this batch so far.

If you get a chance, try the Kanger M3 Clearomizers - they are usually my little go to clearos that have always done well. No harsh juices in them, though... they discolor easily, but they always have a clean vape and I have never found a bad one. I have always gotten them from Healthcabin - but I'm glad to see FT carrying them now $10.92 BYD N2 Electronic Cigarettes Round Mouth Atomizer (5-Pack / 1.0mL) 5-pack - EGO threaded at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Actually I just noticed these FT ones are very different from the Kanger M3s... the base is totally different :/ They may not be replacing my beloved M3s afterall LOL

People get bored and start posting without thinking.
Tiny coils in short run applications do not normally use NR wire. NR wire is used in applications to keep coil resistance at desired setting and still reach the extended contact point. Poor contact to surrounding metal burns grommets due to Hot Spot development at the end of the wire. A clean opening and good snug fit will prevent Grommet damage.
I have had one Grommet get a Hot line in a BCC. The center opening was covered in carbonized junk. A quick wire brush cleaning solved the issue.

Knock off Evod/coils nasty taste - Try thoroughly cleaning BEFORE USE.
Always pop the pipe off so you can see and Dry burn the coil/wick BEFORE USE.
I do this and on EVERY SINGLE coil/wick there is ALWAYS something burning off. (contaminants) A few cycles and it is gone.
While pipe is off, put a drop of e-liquid on the coil, assemble and enjoy.:)

bless you, my angel, you give me hope!

The hell of it is, I've placed 2 orders since then and all got here in under 2 weeks.
I swear, I think one of the truckloads that FT dropped at the postal service was being held up for spite or something. There are a LOT of people who's packages all are around the same date that were stuck and not moving... now all the sudden the last 2-3 days, they are starting to free up.

I'm going to put in another order for some 18650's just to see what happens.

I'm starting to think it's the roll of the dice as to if your order gets hung up. I've seen orders placed after mine get through while mine sit somewhere in HK only being shown as "accepted".
I had high hopes my order would make out of there before hurricane. Now I have high hopes that it will make it out before this holiday coming up. After that, who knows what hope I can place on my order to see get dashed before I move on to the next great hope.

I'm almost tempted to order some piddly, under $15 part to see if shipping by boat can be faster.

Had one order held up in HK for over 3 weeks....then it and two following orders all went to San Fran together....just placed 2 more orders...things seem to be moving fine now

edit all 3 orders included batteries

Are you telling me that nothing of mine is going to move until I place two more orders?

no just a weird cowinkiedink in my case 1st order placed 3 1/2 weeks ago...2nd placed 2 1/2 weeks ago 3rd placed 4 days ago....all should arrive in 5 days if past experience holds out

Mine was placed on Thursday night, Sept 19th. It shipped on Saturday the 21st. It was "accepted" on the 25th and has not moved since. Oh, and tomorrow is a holiday. Remember, Hong Kong is 13hrs ahead of CST so right now, it's 11:33 am over there. I assume that at COB today, they are off for the holiday.

Do I sound pessimistic enough yet?
